Game is killerd sided, no wait survivor sided or…

Since the last rework patch I noticed a constant spamming of killer op, survivors op threads. Let me put this straight. I am a killer main. I usually faced mixed teams from potatoes to sweaty swf. The swf team were mostly toxic aholes abusing every perk, add ons and body blocking every attempt to down someone leaving the game to be just playable with nurse or playing like a pos camping and tunneling to death someone. Solo q is the opposite. You can’t even win against the worst killers because teams are often bad and full of raging dcs or people letting themself to die on hook for no reason. So right now since my every single match involves these two kinds of situations I’m forced to play with nurse nearly every single game to be allowed to play an even match since I’m just facing the worst Swf abusers. I’m just leaving solo q since there is no point in playing a game which gives you salty and potato players in your team. The simple solution to balance the game should be to separate it in two modes. Ranked one: just solos and a killer. Period. Swf can play in an un ranked mode (but guess who is the mad killer who’s going to put himself in those trash matches). So devs instead on focusing the game on making solos strong as swf (because it’s literally impossible) separate the two modes because it’s literally playing two different games. If the game is going to stay this way don’t expect it to save itself from decay.

as i said before in other threads, they should relegate SWF to custom matches, in that way they will keep this feature unchanged and giving incentives to people who want play solo (and killer, since it isn't fun facing SWF generally speaking). The problem that solo survivor have isn't the killer being too strong, but your team being extremely bad most of the times imo.

There is a better way to balance the game that doesn't involve splitting the queues (which would kill the game). You find the largest population in the game (soloQ survivors) and you balance the game around them. You then reward killers for playing against SWFs, baseline BP gains, easier to PIP, make it so that even the killer knows in the lobby. That way they can prepare themselves for a harder game, or dodge if they aren't feeling up to it.

The problem that solo survivor have is dbd is balancing the strength of the killer to face against swat SWF, so people playing soloQ cant expect their 3 teammates to have perfect coordination for unhooking/repairing/looping to compete with full comm swf.

Adding that things like the mmr system giving you two 50-100h teammates against a 3000h nurse, and the recent buffs that makes tunneling and camping more usual makes soloQ a nightmare

obviously you'll never reach the coordination that a SWF has as solo, but you can get close if you know how to play and with the right perks: for example i did a match some time ago as solo aganist the artist, my team was really efficient despite being solo survivors, the survivor that was caught in the end thanks to noed was rescued because the others knew what to do: destroy the totem and go to save the hooked survivor/bodyblock the killer... i did the save without much troubles cause thanks to kindred i knew the killer position (my teammates too) all the time. The match ended with a 0/4 for the killer.

Solo survivor is like a lottery: you should be also lucky to get the right teammates, otherwise you should play based on the other survivor's behavior... they are efficient and do gens instead of hiding into bushes? you can allow yourself to play as a real team (bodyblock in order to save someone from the deathook, heal someone and do gens together, attract the killer's attention in order to let your mates to finish a gen in that zone, etc etc...). they are bad, trolling around or they are doing a challenge that will make them play badly? play selfish and to do more points as you can while waiting the hatch.

almost everyone would dodge probably since you can find not only chill SWF but also the swat squads that play for giving a miserable time for the killer...

No matter how you look at it everything is stacked against solo queue players. Even 3 man swf is a threat to them.

I'd rather not. You only have 1 friend who plays this game, you're out of luck. Any less than 4 friends who play, 1 of whom needs to enjoy killer (and if you've met friends via playing solo then that's not guaranteed). Making playing with your friends a KYF-only feature will instead have people lobby dodge cross-off, causing queue times to skyrocket further because everyone will keep dodging and then the matchmaking system goes haywire and causes the quality of games across the board to plummet.

They basic just made even more perks useless or very bad for both K/S.

Bit those good solo survivors in swf and comms are still better if they play smart.
