Prestiging should be optional
I want to keep leveling my main characters to grab items, add-ons and offerings in their inventory but I don't them to keep increasing prestige. I don't have any interest in reaching prestige 100, quite the opposite.
One. It will lead killers to dodge until the devs hide it from the pre-match lobby.
Two. I love symmetry. I want to spend 2 mil BP on Kate but I don't want her to be the only survivor at prestige 20 while everyone else I play (Dwight, Meg, Claudette, Nea, Feng) is at prestige 9 with no intention of getting them near Kate.
I am avoiding spending BP on characters that are at prestige 9 until the situation is changed. Please, make prestiging an optional feature.

Not gonna happen, the whole reason they changed it was because when it was optional most people never bothered with it, now its mandatory.
