Can someone explain how Reactive Healing works
When I read the description I thought it was one of two ways
1. If your at 50% healing progress and the perk activates then it adds an additional 35% progress
50 + 35 = 85
2. If your at 50% healing progress and the perk activates then it just adds 35% of the 50% You already have.. so
35% of 50 is about 17% so it adds that instead.
50 + 17 = 67
Did I understand it wrong. Is it the first way or second way or it works differently??

It's the second way, the 35% is only for the missing part, not the entire part

Its like boil over, but for your health bar
I thought it was number 1 at first but it was the other way around

No Idea it seems like a really bad perk
5 -
It is
You shouldnt rely on perks that activate when teammates die or lose health close to you.

Yeah Idk what they were thinking with this perk
2 -
Oh wow, so it's even worse than it already sounded.

Yea I agree. It happens, but it’s too situational to get value, for my taste. Sometimes your teammates get downed or hit too close to you, and you’re forced to move in fear of the killer switching his attention on you- if he hears your groaning or sees you in his peripheral. I’m assuming it’ll still be active if you make it somewhere safe to heal, in that scenario.

In doesn't matter if it works with the first formula or the latter, either way it is trash. Anything less than an ACTUAL heal is a waste of a perk slot.

They are especially bad without 100% iron will now

Plus i cant really imagine any scenarios where this perk can be used effectively.
if you are trying to proc it casually, it is too situational. Like, you are doing a gen with another surv and the killer hits him instead of you but you need to be lucky that the killer does not target you instead.
If you try to force its activation, you would be chasing after the killer who would be chasing after another surv. That's just plain trolling.
No matter what you do, it is not worth it for 35% missing health.

It's for if you are caught getting healed and are at like 75%. It's like the old saying, You don't need to outrun the bear, just your buddy. If the killer hits them before you, you gain 35% health hopefully bringing you to full. Pair it up with Self Preservation and you also lose your scratch marks, and if it doesn't heal you to full then it also ends your blood pools and grunts. Not a bad combo, but niche.

It seems a little like an anti-steamroll perk to me. It looks like it has a good range but that formula seems kinda dippy - if it's using the #2 method surely it should go up to 50% not 33%?

Remember that it gives you 35% of your missimg health. If you are already at 75%, it will give you 35% of the 25% you have left (8%) to fully heal, so you will never fully heal from this perk.
Yes, i think you can pair it with Yun-jin 's Self Preservation and Haddie's inner focus to activate them all at once but it's a really niche combo

Ah you're right. Hmmm, pretty lame. Hopefully it gets changed on release to be a percentage of total health

Do you see killer mains asking for a nerf of this perk? No, so it’s a trash perk

If the numbers were more forgiving then a fun meme build could be Reactive healing, Self-preservation, Resurgence, Solidarity. Essentially all perks work together in different ways for ultimate value.
SP+Resurgence+Reactive
Resurgence+Solidarity
RH+SP
Not necessarily strong but meme worthy. But if you face a plague well ...

It's value grows the less you've healed. It takes 35 % of your missing heal progression. If you are injured and not healed at all, it will instantly heal 35 %.
If you are healed for 50 %, it'll just add 17.5 %, leaving you at 67.5 % of total heal progression. It works like current Pop, but instead of using the current progression it uses the current missing progress.

Agreed.

It should give you 50% health and combo nicely with Resurgence
Unhooked and automatically healthy
Oh yeah, killer mains would cry, so they will keep it in the original form.

If it was a flat gain and not missing, this perk could allow body blocking squads to rotate out hits for each other since every 3 hits is full heal.
It's kind of memey at that point because no survivor would be on gens, but everyone would just end up healing off each other being hit.

No one will ever run this perk.
Solidarity is better than this perk, and no one ever runs Solidarity.
