The second iteration of 2v8 is now LIVE - find out more information here: https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/kb/articles/480-2v8-developer-update

What do you think about Artist, Sadako, Dredge?

Artist = A tier for me.

Sadako = A tier as well. She is very weak but somehow really fun to play.

Dredge = Solid A.

This is a weird list of killers to pick. Why these three specifically?

Sadako should be C tier and Wesker is B tier.

Why devs not create S tier killer ?

Artist and Sadako are pretty high skill ceiling characters and despite owning dredge i havent played a single game with him because his design seemed incredibly unoriginal and boring.

They are the most recent. So I wonder what others think about recent killers.

I think it's a shame that Sadako gets supplanted by the Dredge ... I mean, it has better teleportation abilities, more places to teleport to, and better passive power 🤨

In fact, sometimes it feels like the Dredge ... that's what Sadako should have been to be truly oppressive 😶

And that's a shame, because I love Sadako: her appearance, her sounddesign, the erratic way she moves ... she would only miss a little bit of extra mobility 🤗

What do you think about it? 😀

She is really fun to play, my favorite stealth killer probably, but she is weaker Dredge for sure :(

Her condement is kinda a joke and her TVs are in favor of Survivors and she gives way too many audio informations.

Dredge is a B, he has good, infinitely-reusable map presence but is otherwise mostly a normal M1 killer who suffers the same problems as Artist in tiles.

Sadako is a C, she's another M1 but with a useless gimmick. She's just a slightly better Freddy, but if you want to teleport places, just play Dredge instead, and if you want a similar stance dance you're better off with Wraith.

Artist is a B-. She just makes you leave the tile and hold W to the next one, it's not like she can do anything else.

    Artist: A

    Sadako: C

    Dredge: B

Artist is great and I love everything about her. However, if I had to rank her, she'd be in A tier. She can apply map pressure (via Dire Crows), counter loops, and even down survivors from a distance if precise enough. The only issue she has is that Dire Crow hit boxes are a little weird, so you never know if a crow will actually hit a survivor or not.

Dredge is also cool and I'd rank them around B tier. They have good map pressure (via locker teleportation), has a mini stealth mode (Nightfall), and has a decent Anti-loop ability (Although it can be countered quite easily).

Sadako has a nice power, but it's very weak and very unsatisfying to use. I'd rank her around low C tier. Survivors can get rid of her map pressure, TVs take ages to reactivate, Condemned is a complete joke. She's basically a M1 killer with limited map mobility.

Im confused. U call her "very weak" and still put her into A Tier?! I agree that she is fun to play, but she is more a D Tier.

    Artist = A Tier

    Drussy = B-C Tier

Oh I mean it as general rating score (fun level/ desing / power / etc.).

If I would have to put her in tierlist she is low C tier probably (or D).

I own all 3 and haven’t played one game with them (I’m a survivor main, duh. 😜.

The Artist is annoying to go against. Especially with all the meta builds from 2021 & 2022. I find Sadako the most confusing to vs. and she always has me on my toes. I think I’m the only person in the world who does tapes, and do them successfully. The rare times I see a teammate do them, they always get cursed than Mori’d…with 0 hooks!! 🤦 Dredge is the coolest designed character in the game, and currently the ONLY killer I have fun going against. That first month he came out he actually scared me. My favorite moments were the 3000 I.Q locker grabs when I would go to lock a locker. 😆 I appreciate his lore (what little we know for now), especially with Maurice. And Nightfall is a cool mechanic.

    Sadako is literally F

    Dredge would be B

    Artist A

Sadako is literally more useless than trapper if the survivors play right and her condemned is completely useless in all maps that aren't small

she has no anti looping, her TVS take 100 seconds for some reason

the chase music starts before u even manifest which ruins the whole aspect of stealth

coming out of the TV is loud as hell, she is basically a failed stealth killer the only good thing is that her animations are unique and can trick survivors to thinking you are breaking a pallet or breaking a gen, everything else is just a normal M1 killer

so please don't hit her with the A tier, you are giving me hope for buffs

Don't own Sadako, but when I go against her, it's usually an easy escape. Her lullaby can kind of kill her stealth abilities and her anti-looping abilities are only good with the add on. Her condemned is also only viable when brining certain add ons and playing in a way to go for condemns. Usually I never have to touch the tapes when I play. Very rare occurrences of big survivor mistakes gives her wins in my experience.

I'm an artist main, so I love playing her. She requires mechanical skill and game knowledge to be played well. With the amount of hours I have in survivor, I find her a good balance between killer and survivor knowledge. She is definitely A tier in the right hands, and only sinks to low A tier when against really good survivors. She handles like a huntress almost when in chases where survivor hold forward from loop to loop. You have to snipe them with birds and with patience, they're guaranteed to go down.

Dredge is fun, probably about B tier, somewhere in mid maybe. I play him to have fun and try to get locker grabs or use his teleport mid chase. His anti-loop can be really strong at certain tiles, but useless at others. If the survivors know how to bait it, it can sometimes feel impossible to use his remnant for hits mid chase. He's a pretty strong M1 killer basically.

Artist is Poopy Doo Doo and must have her sounds and design replaced with that of a tiny baby crow.

Sadako is like a poor abandoned kitten who needs to be taken in and have love showered upon her. She also needs a nice hot bath with a good scrubbing.

Dredge is great just the way it is. All it needs is a cosmetic consisting of only bugs.

Sadako is FFF:Burst Mode tier to me.

Worst killer in the game by far

    • Artist: Good and polyvalent killer, A tier
    • Sadako: A meme killer, probably the worst in the game. The style over the substance and another reason for me to hate licence killer.
    • Dredge: Solid killer, fun but frustrating on some map, B tier.

Artist can counter the hold W whereas dredge can't. Artist can place the bird and chases you as 115% killer but when dredge places his remnant he chases you as 92% killer.

What exactly do you want to know? Where we rank them in strength? In terms of how fun they are to play? or to play against?

I'll just take 'em all into account:

Artist is a very strong Killer, but not very exciting for me neither to play as nor against, so she would rank relatively low, but not bottom tier.

Sadako... sucks. She is very weak, has not much interesting going on for her and is at this point in time the only Killer I haven't even purchased. Lowest possible rank from me.

Dredge is decently strong, but very fun to play as and very interesting to play against. I like it, only downside is its map dependance - but nevertheless I would rank it pretty high.

I don't understand what is ranked? Fun to play? Design? Strength?

    Strength:

    • Artist - S
    • Dredge - B
    • Sadako - C

    Design:

    • All are great

    Fun to play:

    • Sadako - S
    • Artist - A
    • Dredge - B

In terms of effectiveness I put

    • Sadako at 2 out of 5 on par with Wraith. Sadako has good map mobility and good stealth, similar to Wraith in that respect. She also has some innate slowdown from Condemned. However she’s a bit weak in loops, again similar to Wraith, and for some reason is the only Stealth killer that has a lullaby. Wraith’s stealth is better but Sadako’s slowdown and long range teleportation make it a wash.
    • Dredge at 4 out of 5 because of his great map mobility and lengthy periods of Undetectability combined with lower vision range for the survivors. The only thing holding it back from being 5/5 is it is slightly weak is chases, but it can get into new chases so quickly and easily after every attempt that makes it really solid overall.
    • Artist is maybe a 3.5 out of 5? She has the best anti-loop of the three killers in question here, and her crows also can provide decent tracking information and a little pressure on long range generators. However regular survivors seem to have gotten the hang of knowing when to let go of generators to avoid being hit by crows, and also are aware that if you chain two or three tiles together in a large loop it mitigates some of the strength of her crows to zone them away from vaults. I might be underestimating her a bit but I do see her current kill rate on the aggregate site I track is below average so maybe not. 🤷‍♂️

Being a 115% with no power functionality against hold W is not countering it at all. Quite the opposite. Setting birds makes her a 92% as well, and accomplishes absolutely nothing against holding W except making her take even longer to catch up.
