Anyone Else Seeing Subtle Speed Boosts?

I've been winning a lot of my games since playing nurse and I've noticed a huge uptick in survivors that just seem to inexplicably get a small boost of speed out of nowhere and just not be in range anymore. I've started noticing it on other killers too. They're in range, I swing, they nyooooooom for the length of the swing, then normal speed again.

I've never really had a problem with cheaters, but I've also never been very good at this game as a killer either.

Does this stuff become more common if I keep winning?

well if you play a bit more and see slower and then faster in different matches you should get your answer

Every now and then I come across a survivor that I can never catch up to, the cheat is so subtle that you always have the same distance between you. To confirm my suspicions I usually chase the other survivors and compare, I hit them quite quicker but the cheating survivors you can never reach them to land a hit.

Out of chance are many of these instances when the gates are powered? After Hope's recent buff a LOT more people have been running it. Not discrediting the fact that there are many cheaters however

Now that everyone has cooled it with the "i'm cheating (not hacking that would be giving them too much credit) to protest the changes" You are seeing those people do what we call "subtle cheating" where they do very subtle things that you might not notice. Like, they repair gens a bit faster than they should, but not too fast, or heal themselves without a medkit without self-care and others. Or giving themselves multiple perks that give information while still having other perks. The speed one is also the same thing where they try to be sneaky about it.

There is a such thing as a subtle cheater which is actually pretty common. It isn't until they start losing a match that they break out all the cheating tools to hold a game hostage. You will see this more often in higher MMR matches.

Reported a subtle cheater yesterday for this. He was last survivor with hatch available. I hit him and he got an insane 7+ second speed boost with ridiculous distance and he went directly to hatch. He was on my screen whole time it was obvious, no overcome or anything to explain that. I looked up his profile on steam and he has 1k hours and is a smaller twitch streamer. I'm really hoping BHVR bans him, I filled out everything right and provided video

love the amount of people trying to justify themselves losing a videogame
