Midchapter patch part 2 (perk and general changes edition)

We all know that there's currently a lot going on in DbD. People claiming the game is unplayable, some perks being almost useless and a toxic community (that according to a friend is more toxic than the CSGO community). This post will feature some ideas on how to make some perks useful, I hope some staff will take a look at it.

General Changes

  • Breaking pallets/breakable walls will now take 2.4 seconds (instead of 2.37 seconds).
  • Survivors movement speed duration when getting injured will now last for 1.75 seconds (instead of 1.8 seconds).
  • Recovering from a successful basic attack will now take 2.75 seconds (instead of 2.7 seconds).
  • When a killer is more than 50% of the match Afk, survivors will no longer de-pip (after 15 seconds of not moving or doing an interaction, the killer is considered afk).

Survivor Perk Changes

  • Boon: Dark Theory
  • - In addition to its current effect, footstep volume is set to 50%.
  • - This effect also lingers for 2/3/4 seconds after leaving the Boon's AoE.
  • Poised
  • - The duration will be changed to 12/14/16 seconds (instead of 6/8/10 seconds)
  • - Now grants a 2% haste effect while Poised is active.
  • - Surpresses scratch marks and sets footstep volume to 0% (= no footstep audio) while it's active.
  • Slippery Meat
  • - In addition to its current effects, you will be granted a 7% haste effect for 10 seconds upon self-unhooking.
  • Kinship
  • - Now activates when the killer is longer than 15 seconds in a 16 meter radius around you (instead of having a teammate within the radius, duration remeains the same).
  • - Does not trigger when the killer is currently in a chase.
  • This is not happening
  • -In addition to its current effect, the chance of triggering a skillcheck is increased by 5%.
  • -Now also increases the size of good skillcheck zones.
  • Pharmacy
  • - Now also reduces the audioable range of rummaning by 8 meters.
  • Calm Spirit
  • - Penalty for interacting with totems/chests will be 30%/25%/20%.
  • - Now also effects rummaging.
  • Low Profile
  • - In addition to its current effects, footstep volume is set to 50% while Low Profile is active.

Killer Perk Changes

  • Bloodwarden
  • - It'll last for 30/45/60 seconds (instead of 30/40/60 seconds).
  • Unnerving Pressence
  • - In addtion to its current effects, great skillchecks now won't grant any bonus progression (while being inside the killer's terror radius, doesn't affect bonus from unlockables and add-ons).
  • Claustrophobia
  • - In additon to its current effect, completing the final generator will now block all windows for 20/25/30 seconds.
  • Predator
  • - Scratch marks spawn considerably closer together.
  • - Increased footstep volume by 50%/75%/100%.
  • Hangman's trick
  • - Survviors who beform a sabotage action will scream, revealing their location for 4 seconds and suffer from the exposed status effect for 20/25/30 seconds.
  • Note: Doesn't interrupt survivors and starts as soon as they start the sabotage action.
  • Shadowborn
  • - FoV increase will now be 12/15/18 degrees (instead of 9/12/15 degrees).
  • Fire Up
  • - Increased action bonus per token will be 5% (instead of 4%).
  • - Now increases the speed of the snuffing out action.
  • - Maximum tokens will be 4 (instead of 5).
  • Oppresion
  • - Cooldown will be 80/70/60 seconds (instead of 120/100/80 seconds).
  • Scourge Hook: Mounstrous Shrine
  • - Perk icon will remain dull until leaving the range required to activate the increase in sacrifice speed (only affects Scourge Hooks and only if a survivor is hooked on it).
  • Eruption
  • - Incapacitated duration will now last for 16/18/20 seconds (instead of 15/20/25 seconds).
  • Insidious
  • - After a survivor gets hooked gain the undetectable status effect for 5/7/9 seconds.
  • - Insidious extends the duration of the undetectable effect by 1 second.
  • - Insidious benefits from its own effect.
  • Rancor
  • - Aura flair-up duration will now be 4 seconds (instead of 3 seconds).
  • Dragon's Grib
  • - Cooldown now will be 80/70/60 seconds (instead of 120/100/80 seconds).
