"Disconnected From Host" When Using Hillbilly
How to recreate
- Play Hillbilly.
- Interacting with generators or hooking a survivor will sometimes cause this, based on my experience, having more than 2 hooked survivors typically causes this.
- Killer will be disconnected from the server, forfeiting all bloodpoints and cause a disconnect penalty as a result. It isnt consistent to recreate, it normally happens on Coldwind and Garden of Joy based on my experience.
eFFECT ON GAMEPLAY
- You are disconnected and punished as a result of a bug for playing effectively (or survivors playing poorly).

wow this same exact thing happened to me as freddy. The thing is their error codes are so generic so there's no actual way to tell what happened and better yet they almost always blame your ISP despite every thing else running perfectly fine with 0 issues.

Ive had it happen on a few other killers, but it mostly happens to me when I play Billy.

I'm curious if it's a hack. CSGO and TF2 have seen something similar where bots can basically auto vote kick people out of the game. Since it seems to only happen when you're clearly winning it just makes me think

Might be your router. Every month, you SHOULD be unplugging your router and modem for 1 minute to let it wipe all the traffic from it. I was having the same issues until I did. I was also only getting 25 Mbs per second instead of the 300 that I pay for a month. Let me know if that helps you.

I already do that. I do live in a very rural/suburban area, so it could be attributed to that a tiny bit.
