Should Nurse be removed from DBD ?
... And why is the answer YES ?

Nope

No.
I want to see:
- Make any attack where she uses 2 or more blinks count as a special attack.
- Make it so if she blinks through a falling pallet she gets intercepted and pallet stunned.
- Make it so that if she gets hit with a pallet during her fatigue the fatigue is interrupted and she gets pallet stunned.
Maybe if she is still grossly overpowered after that we can consider it.

The answer is no.

No. Nurse is interesting on a gameplay perspective. She is not impossible to evade. She does well on high mmr but is hard to master. On low and mid mmr, against casual Nurses, she's actually fun to play against.

The answer to "Should (literally anything that is part of the game on purpose) be removed?" is no. That is how you alienate the playerbase.

Not only No, but did we really need another thread with the same silly question?
2 -
No. That's ridiculous. Very few people actually want nurse nerfed. Just some small changes and she is fine. Let's not go overboard

Yes. She simply cannot function in this game - letting her stay is sacrificing the fun and playability of the entire survivor role for the sake of diehard sweaty nurse mains' 4K streaks. I know this sounds like bait, but if you think she should remain, you are simply wrong and likely nurse/killer biased.

I think Nurse keeps DBD from reaching true balance potential. She breaks all the rules that other Killers have to follow. So yeah, I think her design is unhealthy. Removal will never happen though.

I'm guessing you posted this elsewhere or saw it in the feedback forum, but as a nurse main:
- This isn't the way to nerf her, and it makes her inconsistent with every other killer that has a power like this. Should clown, spirit, wraith, onroyo, etc all count as a special attack when using their power too?
- This actually is already a thing, it is just extremely hard to time, most likely with the upcoming nerf to range addons to not also increase the speed, you'll see this happen more often.
- This does not do what you think it does. The fatigue stun is actually longer than a pallet stun. I would much rather get pallet stunned, not lose half my vision, and then be stunned for less time, this would actually be a buff.

As a survivor main, seeing Nurse deleted would make me genuinely sad, as I think she's one of the fairest & funniest killers to fight.
And I know it's hard to believe that story and think I'm a random killer main, but you can check my post history, literally every single of my other posts has been complaining about survivor being too weak and some killer/strategies being OP.
But while many things in this game are extremely unfair especially for solo survivors, Nurse is not one of them and actually has a lot of counterplay. The reason she looks so OP imo is because the game does a terrible job at explaining how to counter each killer and as a result most people don't even know how Nurse power works and how to exploit it. For a long time I thought Nurse was OP too, but then I tried to play her, and after just a few games I realized that she actually has very exploitable weaknesses, and now I'm able to beat most Nurses at my MMR, in fact Nurse might very well be the only killer I can carry my team against.
And again I know it sounds weird considering how much hate she gets, but I'm convinced that if most people could just play her for a few games, not only would you realize that she's not OP but she's also fun to play mindgames against, and while it's different from the normal looping gameplay with pallets/vaults it is arguably also very fun.
I cannot explain everything about Nurse counterplay in just one sentence, but basically, when Nurse charges her blink, she can teleport to any position on the map in a very large radius around her (~50 meter) but only ONCE, after that she has a 2nd blink which enables her to "correct" her trajectory a bit this time with ~10m range, and then she has ONLY 1 second where she can move and potentially attack. After this 1 second, regardless if she hit you or not, she has to get in a very expensive "fatigue" state which makes her unable to attack, almost unable to move, and get reduced FOV for ~5 seconds. During this time, the survivor is invincible, and as Nurse is slower than survivor the only way she can catch you is by waiting for her next blink, but she won't have it for about 5 seconds.
For example, check this clip (at 2:35):
Here Nurse uses only 1 blink for some reason but we can do as if it was the 2nd one for simplicity. Notice after Nurse misses her attack, she looks down ("fatigue" state). Sweh takes the vault in front of her which would be risky against any other killer, but not against Nurse, this is 100% safe. She literally CANNOT hit you in this state, and won't be able to until the next 5 seconds. During this time Sweh can vault, move very far away and reposition for the next dodge.
The way you dodge Nurse is by playing in a way that makes her as hard as possible for her to guess where you are right when she charges her blink. The most straightforward way to do that is by getting behind a wall, make it look like you're going in one direction, and when you hear her charge a blink (it has a clear sound cue), go into the opposite direction. Against 90% Nurses, this will result in Nurse teleporting very far away from you, sometimes even losing the chase. It's important not just to break LOS but also to be unpredictable, many Youtube videos "how to counter Nurse" will just tell you "Break LOS" but without explaining WHY you want to break LOS. The reason you break LOS is not so she can't see you, because that doesn't change anything to her power as she can perfectly teleport through walls. The reason you want to break LOS is to make her mis-aim her 1st blink and be as far as possible when she actually teleports so that you're not in the 10 m range of the 2nd blink and you can exploit the fatigue cooldown to reposition.
If you move correctly, Nurse will always teleport slightly too far away and always miss her attack by 1 meter after the 2nd blink which is quite satisfying. I've had games where Nurse would literally fail 10+ attacks without getting a single hit, always barely missing it.
Even without breaking LOS there are a variety of tricks you can use to dodge her attacks, once again, by mind gaming the 1st blink, so that she is too far away and doesn't have enough range to hit you with the 2nd. (check video below at 0:14). These are not pro tricks, I use pretty much all of them regularly in my games.

I think the better option would be for you to git gud

yes

She needs a nerf but she shouldn’t be completely removed or anything.

In the next patch her broken addons got adjusted, so were going to see how she ends up being without mega blink.
That being said, the month that she was turned off because of bugs was mint.

Why is the answer yes?
Probably because some are bad at the game and refuse to learn to play and get better. That's my guess.

Removed? No.
Nerfed? Yeah.

Can't believe people still use this argument.
Shades of "just wait it out"

I'll just paste my previous response to this question...
"Hey, BHVR! You know that killer that has been around for 6 years? The same one with a dedicated fanbase that has been playing her for years? Yeah, delete her from existence.
I'm all for rebalancing Nurse, but keep in mind, that you need to consider Nurse players too. Yes, there are a fair amount of sweat lords but most people just wanna play their favorite killer."

Did you not just agree that she shouldn't be removed?

Oh, I do not think content should be removed unless it's horrendously bad (RPD) but your statement was also pretty bad in the exact opposite direction.

No. I think she's been in the game for far too long that removing her would be unfair to her dedicated players. There's plenty of ways that she could be nerfed without having to be reworked or removed.

I was only responding with the same energy I got from the op. I think that's fair enough.

Nurse is my least favorite killer to play but I don’t want her removed from the game. I wouldn’t mind seeing her be tweaked though.

No way nurse is great.
A good nurse is one of the few terrifying killers left.
The recent buffs brought a lot of the roster back from the brink of lame duck but still nothing compares to a good nurse for terror.
Creepy aesthetic with a hard power to avoid using the usual run around the same rock 6 times brain dead mechanics.
Nurse is dbd at its best. I wish I was better at her but I’ll settle for facing off against her on a regular basis.
