Pinhead Box Spawn Prediction
Can something be done about Pinhead mains running Lethal Pursuer and perfectly predicting the initial location of the box every match? It immediately forces the match into the killer's favor in a way that doesn't seem intended.
Maybe the RNG could be changed to spawn anywhere so it's truly impossible to predict? Or delay the initial spawn by 20 seconds or so?
I don't want to nerf Pinhead's power, but this "tech" is a bit ridiculous.

Why? The survivors can see the location of the box throughout the ENTIRE match. The killer would need to waste one perk slot AND have the knowledge of how spawn prediction works just to be able to get the box faster than the survivors.

Yes it's an asymmetric game so objectives work differently for both sides. If it was intended to work that way, don't you think they would have just made the match start with a chain hunt active?

Also, I'd hardly consider watching a 5 min Otz tutorial vid some vast wealth of game knowledge.

Sounds like lack of an argument

I don't see the problem why don't you just go get the Box at the start of the match

Because the killer is faster and also knows where it is? Because he'll also see your aura running toward it on Lethal? Because you'll end up handing him a chain hunt and a hook immediately?

Does he know where it is or does you running there on lethal tell him?
Fact of the matter is the killer is guessing and you know for sure.

The killer can reliably identify the area where it will spawn based on his own starting point and the auras of the survivors on Lethal. a survivor running toward the box only confirms it.

Ok so we have moved from perfectly to reliably, i can reliably predict what gen people are gonna work on first does that need to be changed i dont even need lethal for that.

It's still a gamble, survivor spawns are a fickle thing sometimes

That grants Pinhead 2 Hooks or so at best against good teams. I don't see the issue

It's a high risk high reward strategy.
I personally like to run it but usually you'll get more than one potential Cube spawn location. If you check them all, you'll waste a lot of time and it's not guaranteed you find it.
Also, distortion being stronger now, having the info of both Pinhead and Lethal should warn you to immediately get on the cube. It's not impossible to counter and really distortion isn't that uncommon.
And even if you find it early, yes it puts you at an advantage but it's not a guaranteed 4k.
