I think wesker will get nerf because devs are survivor sided
Do you think they will buff or nerf wesker ?
When they look at the Project W chapter and decide to throw some changes at wesker do you think they will be buffs or nerfs?

"Buffs" though really its just fixing his bugs.

Bug fixes are all that I feel comfortable predicting, he could go either way.
He is incredibly strong when he works, so maybe a few light nerfs would actually be called for. Who knows!
8 -
They just released a mid chapter with big killer buffs and big survivor nerfs. Killer queues are now longer than survivor queues and you are still calling them survivor sided?
54 -
They nerf thanatophobia and adding many pallet god in new RPD.
And give reassurance OP perk to survivor.
9 -
Reassurance is not at all an overpowered perk. The survivor has to drop everything to get close to the hook to not even unhook, but delay the hook timer. Its only good against campers. It is however a band-aid fix behind a paywall.
59 -
At most they’ll nerf some of his add ons and maybe the hindered fro: infection
4 -
I dont think so, everyone is talking about buffs to wesker, nobody is talking about nerfing at least

6.1.0: happens
You: Devs are so survivor sided
And for the record, I can see him getting slight nerfs but not many if at all. Bug fixes are all I can really see happening, and hopefully it's a Sadako situation where they leave him for 6 months except, you know, he's actually good.
30 -
Considering his power seems usable in most places, can be used for mobility, infection slows survivors down and he can kinda temporarily ignore god pallets I'm kinda surprised he's not 110
Caveat though I didn't play the PTB so haven't gone as or against him, not saying that's what he should be just what I would've expected

Found the facecamper

These forums are such a meme

I'm going to address the Devs are survivor sided comment here. This is completely not the case...the designers of this game are neither survivor sided or killer sided, they consider the game as a whole.
If there are any adjustments made to Wesker or his power, then these will be done for the health of the game same as any adjustments to perks etc. It's not about one side or the other.
55 -
The possible tweaks I could see might be
- Reducing the size of his collision hit box. They did something like this with Blight after his PTB had similar collision issues of slamming into terrain when it didn’t seem like he should
- Letting his do his normal attack when he Bounds into someone who is mid-vault. It feels a bit odd that literally nothing happens when he collides full on with a survivor who happens to be doing that specific vault animation. (Note that he does do normal attack animations when survivors are doing other certain animations, the vault seems to be an odd exception.)
- Swapping priority so if he Bounds into a pallet that a survivor is trying to raise with Any Means Necessary is cancels the Any Means Necessary intent instead of canceling his vault. Again, this is mainly because this particular animation seems really counterintuitive, you’d think Wesker trying to leap over the pallet wouldn’t just stop dead in his tracks because the survivor on the other side was trying to lift it.
Otherwise I can’t think of much else they’d change unless there’s an add-on or two they want to adjust.
4 -
Wesker very weak if not have add-on and he still not have anti-loop.
His power cooldown so long.
2 -
maybe just get good, don't use power in short loops and break the pallet
12 -
Yeah op if your a camper
8 -
Have you heard of breaking a pallet?
His power is bad at short loops, which are easier to deal with, and good at long loops, which is where M1 killers need the help. I don't see an issue tbh.
13 -
Yeah multiple people explained to you in that other thread why this clip is really not a good example of effective use of his pallet vault but I guess you're still quite attached to it
10 -
He came out like a week ago. I really hate the term 'get good', but I feel like it absolutely applies here. Put the time into this killer (and any killer really) before determining how weak he is.
4 -
A mostly killer sided buff patch dropped weeks ago so your title doesn’t make sense.
11 -
Did they consider Solo Q when they released the last patch though?
19 -
He could lunge and hit you easily. Just not a good player
5 -
Only thing he really needs is his collision fixed. In a lot of ways, he's the opposite to dredge when it comes to chases. Dredge can absolutely dominate short loops, but is countered by holding w out of the loop, and can struggle with long loops. Wesker on the other hand really can't handle short loops better than a basic M1 killer, but if you just try to hold w out of the loop or play around long loops, he can punish you badly for it.

Oooof! I feel smell of camper 😀 "Reassurance" is like litmus paper.
5 -
I mean its not so much that its a strong perk, but more an extremely exploitable one. There are multiple tiers of "balance" to the game, none of which are actually balanced.
1 -
What about if the killer is face camping at 5 gens? What about certain killers being able to camp more effectively then others?
There are some times camping is completely unfair
4 -
What if they're not neither sided and just try to make the game balanced? Thanatobia was overnerfed I can say that but reassurance is basically needed as killers camp so much more now than ever before simply because they can.
1 -
bruh, where did you get the idea he was strong to deserve one in the first place.
he needs some changes/fixes cuz rn he's pretty underwhelming
1 -
With how miserable soloq has been you'd think they're killer sided
4 -
no offense but anything you say about the devs will be taken with a massive grain of salt with how jaded you guys have made your fanbase.
7 -
Why's the killer defending an area when the survivors just walk up uncontested and slap Reassurance on the hooked survivor?
3 -
But devs play only survivor , they never play killer.
0 -
To be fair, soloq is only more miserable recently because of people giving up and DCing/suiciding, which isn't exactly BHVR's fault.
2 -
It’s “OP” against hard campers but honestly I say good.

Dont worry, they will nerf reassurance, I’m completely sure

I swear like every killer for the past two years has been buffed upon release but yea, developers are "survivor sided", I also think for like, the past 2 years at least one survivor perk has been nerfed on release as well... lmao.
5 -
i think you know the answer to that and it's just sad.
0 -
Pinhead basically got nerfed upon Release, Artist got nerfed upon release, Sadako hasn't been changed at all, Dredge also hasn't been changed at all.
Can we stop making stuff up and actually use facts? Like... lmao
1 -
pretty sure they don't play at all which is the problem.
0 -
You named two killers in two years.... Good job buddy!
(Sadako was buffed on release, so good job bringing her up) Dredge had some fixes that made him more powerful than ptb, only one making things up is you.
5 -
But there aren't only two sides, not really.
SWF = top tier killers > regular killers > solo queue survivor.
This has been the accepted state of balance for a while now.
Might as well add another 'greater than' sign between regular killers and solo survivors after this patch.
I can understand the devs wanting to increase kill rates. I don't agree with how it has been done, but I can understand why.
What I don't understand is why solo queue is being left behind in such a way. Increasing kill rates in this way is just throwing balance out the window.
Maybe devs don't play high mmr games. Maybe they do, but I'd guess that there isn't much testing done there.
At this point if the killer decides he wants to win, he has all the tools necessary to do so. Solo queue players just have to hope a little slack is given. Some people think this is how the game should be. Is that how the devs feel? Should killers be feared and dominating games?
I think many players would just like an answer. Is bringing kill rates up more important, or is a fun, balanced game for all sides more important?
I can tell you that on the killer side it is just as unsatisfying, but in a different way. Winning doesn't feel as earned. It is too easy. I go for a 12 hook win, so sometimes I don't get it. After this patch, whenever I don't, I can look back at the match and say with certainly that if I just hard tunneled the first hook it would have been a 4k. I'm not even talking about nurse or Blight with their busted addons, either. Right now those killers are easy wins if the killer knows what they are doing.
The game is not in a good state.

That title is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard
0 -
stop being so survivor sided omg entitled survivor main
3 -
Bug fixed don't count.
Sadako was buffed? You mean the 0.5/1 second (can't remember the actual number) decrease on manifesting/demanifesting? That's barely anything. Did she get any other buffs on her release?
Let's go over a few of the Killer nerfs that we've gotten over 2 years:
Wraith got absolutely deleted, Deathslinger got absolutely deleted, Nemesis was made even weaker, Twins got nerfed hard, Pinhead got nerfed for no reason.
All the significant Survivor nerfs either came from 6.1.0, which weren't as disastrous as most people make it out to be, that one DS nerf and the plethora of CoH nerfs. Other than that, Survivors barely got touched
1 -
None of these killers were "deleted" This post is about nerfing wesker on release yet you're having to find minor changes to certain killers that have nothing to do with their release, what tangent are you going on right now because it's ridiculous lmao.
Me - "Most killers are buffed on release"
You - "ACKSHUALLY LOOK AT THESE KILLERS THAT WERE NERFED WHICH HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH THEIR RELEASE DATE BUT I SHALL LIST THEM ANYWAY BECAUSE KILLER MAINS ON THE FORUMS WILL UPVOTE ME BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT CONVERSATION TOPICS"
Sadako Changes btw:
- Decreased max visible range while demanifested to 24m (was 32m)
- Decreased Terror Radius to 24m (was 32m)
- Decreased the amount of Condemned removed when inserting a tape to 3 segments (was 4 segments)
- Decreased time taken to passively gain a condemned segment while holding a tape to 25 seconds (was 30 seconds)
- Add-on: Yoichi’s Fishing Net: Decreases time taken to passively gain a condemned segment while holding a tape by 12% (was 20%)
Survivors nerfs directly affect every single survivor player, nerfing a small number on one killer does nothing to the rest of the cast, they aren't even remotely similar, survivor nerfs are always more impactful than any single killer change.

"devs are survivor sided" - right after an update where all the good survivor perks were nerfed to become useless, they made tunneling much easier, gens slower, made killers faster in chase, playing solo q is now suicide. but yes definitely survivor sided

if anything i hope they dont change him at all just fix the bugs he has and it will be perfect
0 -
Prohably, to make him even weaker, his power is already underwhelming and on most loops he plays as a m1 killer, weak vault, clunky power to use, high c tier or weak b tier currently.
0 -
i hope they dont nerf him my only concerns are the double god pallet on rpd stairs and not nerfing reassurance
