How many of you are actually hyped about the upcoming DLC?
In the in the schedule that dead by daylight gave us the clown was the only killer and Adam we're the only characters that come out this year the people actually gave a ######### about.
Edit
Okay what I'm gauging so far is the following. It seems a lot of you all are more interested about the optimization change along with... well that
The second category of all of you are more interested in the perks rather than the Killer and Survivor. Not to mention those in this category either like or hate the change to nurses calling and what they considered healing in this game.
The last group of you are hyped and really seem to like the new killer and Survivor.
O3o
Well I'm going to keep this going.

Not exactly hyped but i find legion fun to play as, perhaps i will use it on rank reset

In all fairness, the past few dlc have been hyped about the perks more than the actually Killer themselves. The current dlc has hit me with next to no interest. The buffs 'they' need were not added and the current dlc is one i can walk away from with ease. I know people talk about 'not all killers should be op' but i still would like a solid B tier killer come out of future realises.4

I'm hyped for the optimization patch and engine upgrade when the dlc come out
That's it7 -
More about the new engine and the better perfomance if I'm honest. Which doesn't mean I'm not hyped about the DLC thk1
-
I'm looking forward to the new engine and iron maiden to ######### around with on doctor :>

I'll buy it but I don't think I'll play Legion as much as how I played Spirit and Clown when they released. The perks are meh but the map is nice. Survivor comes with some really good perks so that's good, I'm all in for more variety. Only thing I'm not excited for are the balance changes but it is what it is ya know. As a Freddy main I take the locker changes personally so I guess I'm going to have to add iron maiden into my build and I might have to stop playing Doctor with the BT changes because I like big terror radius and that should hurt me in my end game. Anyway this next patch will be kinda meh for me, I'll continue playing and hope it all goes well. Excited for the optimization patch tho

Nothing.
The new engine is really bad for low settings (My FPS dropped from 60 to 30 with the new engine, looks like I'm uninstalling until I can afford a better graphics card)
and just.. everybody wanted Legion to go 115% and of course the devs didn't listen, so I'm not hyped one bit. It might be the patch that drives me away really. I like the Legion, like the new survivor, but the cons have now outweighed the pros imo

I am super hyped for it. I play the game for the feel of it. I like Legion alot, because we really lack just a regular joe turned bad sorta killer, with no special powers.0
-
I am hyped for The Legion. They are going to become my main. I love their cosmetics and their back story.1
-
Im hyped for something that bridges the gap between solo and swf players.

I'm decently excited, all things considered. Love the aesthetics of The Legion, especially the fact you can be Male,or Female. The whole "Welcome to The Game"/The Strangers kinda vibe they give off is particularly appealing. While currently weak, the ability to sprint and vault pallets amd quickly injury Survivors looks particularly fun.
Def needs tweaks and buffs, but I feel I'm gonna have a fair bit of fun mix & matching different Perks for this Killer. I'm hopeful for some (moderately quick) fixes like Nurse's Calling being viable for the mending of Deep Wounds (unless that's already been brought up by the Devs) and that Deep Wounds are more threatening to Survivors as a whole.
I dunno, even with more "meh" and negative response from the community (in general) I can't help but be transfixed by the design and kit of this Killer.
Now.....as far as Survivors go, this'll be two in a row for new Survivors that I'm just not all that excited for1 -
Meh. I'm hoping he gets another round of buffs. but i'll be getting him day 1.
But i wouldn't call it "hyped"

No, this isn't a joke post I'm being dead serious. I actually want to know how many of you are actually hyped about this because given what I read and what I've seen on YouTube, the forms, and the ptb. I don't see too much hype with this killer just like the last one. I guess we're just happy to get new perks and maybe a new style to play in but to be honest and I don't care who disagrees but...In the in the schedule that dead by daylight gave us the clown was the only killer and Adam we're the only characters that come out this year the people actually gave a ######### about.
Not hyped at all, the update itself is completely survivor sided, they get a new survivor with lots or new Crutches and we get a useless weak AF killer.
By the way, Spirit is a top tier killer while Clown is a big joke, down there, together with his friends, Leatherface, Wraith and Freddy.

I'm excited for the engine changes. I've got an older machine and things seemed to run smoother and look much better. I do hope they fix all the unnecessary lens flare effects though.
New survivor is interesting. The fusion dance of Bond and Empathy is nifty. I foresee Deliverence and Break Down being annoying.
Legion is a mixed bag for me. On the surface, very cool concept, poorly executed. If the devs are willing to listen like they did with Spirit, I foresee Legion doing well, but not until after multiple patches.
Deep Wounds should have been a status restricted to Legion, just like Doctor has Madness, and should not have been integrated with Borrowed Time. I feel as though it's a massive mistake to do otherwise.1 -
Yup, not hyped either.... I'm sure you can figure out why, if not, pretty much the same reasons why others aren't.

I’m hyped for Legion’s perks and the console optimization patch (if it actually comes this month).0
-
I'm hyped legion has a very cool backstory and look while he is underpowered at the moment. I am certain that he will be buffed.0
-
I am hyped for optimization, new engine update, Jeff and his perks.
Killer doesn't mean anything to me at this point.
1 -
I'm more hyped for the cosmetics than anything else. Especially that dope ass ######### outfit for JeFF: https://i.redd.it/9jgr5clbhu121.png

This is gonna get me crucified, but I'm hyped because I think the Legion is now better than most people think, and because I hope the devs will change the one thing that can put the Legion at the top - remove the recovery period if he doesn't use Feral Frenzy to hit anyone.

I always anticipate new DLCs with a lot of hype just from the fact that the game is constantly growing. Also I agree with Orion, Legion might be stronger then people give him credit now. He's quite dangerous killer to balance since if he gets too many buffs he might be even stronger then nurse and far easier to use.

@Bug_Reporter
All I know is I'm more interested in ending a Chase then playing a mind game. He might be mechanically easy but doesn't matter if you can in the Chase and have fun.
@Orion
Okay, I actually do agree with you on this one. He's a lot stronger than people give him credit for.
However, people will always look at killers in these three ways.
1. If it isn't top tiers it's garbage
2. How many builds can you make with it if any at all.
3. Is this at least fun to play if it isn't topped here. Which is rare for people to fall in this category because most would like to end the game with more than one kill

3. Is this at least fun to play if it isn't topped here. Which is rare for people to fall in this category because most would like to end the game with more than one kill- Games should be balanced at the top. The problem with the "not every Killer is meant to be competitive" BS is that you end up with the same Killers at the top (Nurse and Hillbilly at the moment). This results in a rash of disconnects to derank, on both sides. Survivors don't want to face the same Killers over and over again, and Killers would like to be able to play something else from time to time as well.
- Variety staves off boredom.
- Yes, Killers would like to be able to kill. That's the whole point of the role. A Killer who can't kill is only going to be fun for one side, and it's not the Killer. Most people who play Killer don't care about points; they care about the role.

I will buy both of them with shards, they are not worth money not even close.
Not hyped at all if i;m being honest, weak killer, decent perks all around for both, decent map.
Engine update is nice tho.0 -
Not hyped, probably still gonna buy it.

The Saw chapter will always be the most exciting release and the most fun I've had after release.
The Spirit had me hyped for awhile then it fizzled out a few weeks after launch (still like Spirit thought)
The Legion inspires no form of excitement whatsoever and aside from the optimization stuff I don't really care for this chapter. This will probably be the first one I do not buy.
0 -
due to the killer being the new 2nd worst killer, some very disappointing perks and the upcoming killer nerfs, id rather have this chapter not released at all...
enjoy your nurses calling doc as long as you can! he'll be gone soon enough...

More excited playing Smash Bros Ultimate, and Last Year launches on the 18th. The new DLC doesn’t offer anything for me, except Distortion. Still the same game.0
-
I'm very hype, my uterus is on fire

Im not hype at all and i regret i buy clown.I dont buy legion.0
-
I’m more excited for the optimisation on console, hopefully we will no longer get 10FPS drops whenever you enter mother’s dweling.0
-
more hyped over the lighting over the survivor and killer

I'm only hyped for #SUSIE1
-
Only excited for Jeff.
Not so much in Legion by themselves but i will try to get Mad Grit.
For the Iron Grasp + Agitation + Mad Grit combo on Bubba...0 -

It would be great to have it, Legion would feel balanced, but I doubt they will buff him that way.
