Shrine BP not given

I just spent all my BP and went to the shrine of secrets for more. I bought the left perk and got 100k as promised. Then I bought the top perk, also had it at level 3 unlocked, I double-checked, and got no BP, but my shards were spent! When I re-entered the shrine, the perk was still up for purchase. A second try yielded the correct expected result.
Part of the bug might be that I clicked out of the interaction VERY fast after the second purchase.
Platform is Steam, PC. I can not reproduce it, for obvious reasons.
