Huntress, Demo and Slinger for me. All lead to fun chase with interactions on both sides and all 3 require a good amount of knowledge and skill from the killer perspective

Nurse : I love the mind-game/counter-mind-games. And whenever I get one that's too strong for me, I learn something.

If we are going strictly gameplay then Nurse. She makes you play outside the box and I love it. Really makes me feel good when the nurse gives up because she realizes the time sink is gonna be too much to be worth the down. However if we are going in general, i like playing against and as clown just for his character in game, laughing at everything is just a delight.

I actually don't really care who I go up against, I hate going against Billy though, watching him lose 3 gens just to saw to me is always really sad and reminds me how far he's fallen.

Myers ghostface or pig. Nice change of pace to play the spooky scary paranoia game. Tombstone Myers is annoying, though.

    Demodoggo.

A killer with fair mobility, a fair chase power with actual mechanical counterplay allowing both sides to enjoy the game.

    Hillbilly, Trapper And Myers

Hillbilly is exciting, it's like you're watching a motocross where there's only one rider and he's crazy

Trapper for some reason I find it funny, why I don't know

Myers is unpredictable, I never know where he is, he always leaves me in doubt, and when I'm calm... POW, a man with a mortar face is chasing me!

The Hillbilly: The chaotic playstyle and chase playstyle makes him a killer that always gets the adrenaline pumping.

The Shape: He's still the master of jumpscares, and is an intimidating presence.

The Executioner: For me, the most intimidating of all killers because of his appearance, and the sound effects are nostalgic (for SH2) and unnerving.

The Onryō: Not on The Shape's level, but still a jumpscare machine in the right hands, and extremely unpredictable.

The Oni: Fiery demon charge is one heck of a creature to run from, and his chase music is probably my favourite.

The Demogorgon: Just the most fun killer to face for me! Also the most well-balanced killer made for me.

And from what I've seen thus far, The Mastermind looks like he'll be up there too.

Nurse & Blight: Both of them require actively mindgaming and adapting to how the killer plays.

MacMillan; I can only blame myself for stepping into bear traps.

Rin Yamaoka; Bias towards asians, the killer I do enjoy playing the most.

Anna; Although hatchets' hitboxes are weird, they do reward proper timing. I can't complinent players, who do use crosshair on monitor and add-ons, though.. Those are literally being carried by them.

Amanda Young; Jump scares, playing „the Game“ while playing the game, as well as infectious sounds whenever stunned.

Billy Max Thompson Junior; Actually really scary chase music, very oppressive power forcing me to be constantly changing positions. He forces a change of pace instead of holding M1 for the entire match.

I guess, that's all I can think about outta top of my head.

    Blight, Nemesis, Legion and Oni

Blight because he's the antithesis to holding W, so I get really exciting chases against him (Among other reasons that I shall not speak of)

Nemesis because his power requires a lot of precision, so I like the anticipation of trying to dodge where he may try to get a cheeky hit, plus his zombies add chaos into the mix at times

Legion because I main them, I like testing my knowledge on how to deal with them

And Oni because his power is like Blight's, it leads to really exciting chases along with the stress of trying to deny him an early hit (Among other reasons that I shall not speak of)

Myers, Ghost Face, and Pyramid Head.

Pyramid Head cause of Silent Hill. Ghost Face cause him scaring me just once turns me into a potato. And Myers cause...no matter how well you are doing...Myers is still so damn intimidating and scary to approach. (Also Mirror Myers is always good fun.)

Billy, Demo, Blight, Artist and Dredge are probably my top 5

EDIT: Oh and because of fun chases, and Dredge has the best chase music (to anyone who disagrees, come cowshed 1v1)

I’m a killer main, but I think Dredge is the only character I’ve played that a survivor told me afterwards they were screaming from the jump scares and how much fun it was. So I know Dredge has some fans among some survivors. 🙂

    oni, nurse, blight

the only killers who are really "scary"

oni in his power is so strong and so threatening, but also has a great deal of counterplay (imo hes the best designed killer in the game). its so intimidating seeing oni running towards you at hyperspeed ready to insta down you the moment you mess up or get outplayed. it really puts the pressure on

nurse is great, she ignores pallets and windows, and instead uses los blockers, and it feels fun and unique

blight is also fun, he counters w gaming which is just uncounterable by 90% of the cast, and he has a unique power in chase, which has plenty of counterplay.

    blight, huntress, oni, spirit.

Assuming the killers are not using lame builds or busted addons of course.

Basically any killer apart from Artist and Twins. I'll explain why:

I like Artist and Twins I just haven't faced them enough to be confident against them, the counterplay I am aware of is either reliant on communication (Twins), reliant on my teammates knowing it (Twins + Artist) or generally doesn't work out for me (Artist). Nobody plays them really so it's hard to build up experience

It's partially why I've been playing these 2 killers myself, to see if I can get a better understanding of them. I did the same with Hag - I played her for a while and understood her strengths and weaknesses and adapted my survivor gameplay to it. Sometimes there's only so much I can do on my own tho, if my team flops then I flop too yk.

Slinger is very easy to outplay even if he plays good atm, he is outclassed by huntress in almost everything he does.

High mobility, high lethality killers like Hillbilly and Blight because they generally feel no need to camp (this does not apply to Nurse, because her players are not like that, they do play in the most unfun ways possible) and killers such as Huntress that telegraph that they are coming from a mile away so you can be stealthy instead of always getting into chases.

    Killers that don't tunnel.

It'd be faster to say I don't enjoy playing against Bubba, Blight, Nurse, Billy, Nemesis, Pinhead. Bubba because I've never met a Bubba who didn't tunnel or camp. Blight because I've never met a Blight who didn't tunnel. Nurse because I've never met a Nurse who didn't tunnel. Billy because it's always point-blank chainsaws. Nemesis because I've never met one who didn't tunnel. Pinhead because, again, tunneling but also I just don't like the box mechanic.

I enjoy playing against every other killer though. Don't really have a reason why. They're just more fun to play against for me.

    I enjoy playing against:

    • Artist. So much play and counterplay, plus I love her design.
    • Hag. Similar reasons. No Hag is the same either.
    • Demogorgon. Tend to be memelords and always seem to have a lot of character.
    • Spirit. These tend to be fun, different games.
    • Plague. Another killer that has a unique style.
