A 4-men SWF hostaged a game in Raccon with a boon in centre
I've just experienced a game against a 4-men team where I felt the game was broken.
They made 3 offerings to extend the length between hooks + 1 offering for Raccoon.
They immediately set-up a boon with healing, unbreakable + speed bonus in the centre of the map.
Then they just don't do their objectives but go straight on the 2nd floor and they stayed there...
Not to mention, they has flashlights, and the perks to evade from killer's grasp.
From then, the game was hostaged. Nothing I could do.
I guess they had fun at my detriment, but they had fun.
That's a corner case, but it shows again how boons are one of the worst ideas the devs had...

If that happens again record it and report them. That is against the rules.

I doubt that the report system works. Seeing how bugs/patches etc are made.
Nobody can keep the game hostage.. just close it and reopeon and wualaaa... u good to go

Yeah, I know exactly what video that team watched beforehand. The same is possible in Badham Preschool if basement is at shack.
I don't think the problem lies with boons though. This kind of situation can only be achieved by using a specific combination of several builds and 3 particular offerings, on a particular map under certain conditions.

Just another example of why I wish the devs would just remove map offerings from the game. The map offerings just exacerbate whenever some abuse or imbalance on a specific map is found that some players want to drive into the ground.
What you're describing isn't necessarily bannable though, it's just irritating. Hypothetically all you have to do is just keep downing and slugging them and they eventually bleed out even if you don't ever hook them.

Not hypothetical. That is exactly what I do and it works like a charm.

I had a similar situation shortly after the hook was added to the library. 4-man swf with double flashlights, double toolboxes, one with CoH, Exponential, Dead Hard and Decisive. The other three running DH + DS and a couple of other perks I don't remember. So I hard tunneled them and kept hitting them with Frankie's. I got the 4k and it was very satisfying.

That's what I went for. But with that boon giving them illimitate "unbreakable", this could have last very long. I disconnected because I didn't want to play 30 minutes with them. Mind they also had the boon with extra speed. So yeah I could have had them, but they'd had their bunch of fun.

Last time I went such a team (in RPD, with boons on to of each other) I've simply downed one and camped his body, repeatedly downing him whenever he sprang up until he bled out. And repeated the process until the last one escaped through the hatch. (They were focused on avoiding a single death so they didn't progress gens)
Getting called a salty try harder in the end game chat felt so good.
If you go against little jerks like that, don't try to win. Only try to ruin their fun.

Thats a lot of player responsibility that nobody actually wants. I just want to play a game. I don't want to be part of the game. It's almost as if they created something that the player base has to police on their own. After we gave them money. Furthermore, theyre always too busy to respond.

I hate this mate as well. Getting a hook is always a challenge and there are certainly lot of issues with this map.
If the map played an important role in their plan, boon perks are really the cornerstone of the plan.
