My problem with DBD

Now I'm sure some might feel this way too but I wanted to share what I think is wrong with the game, and I don't think its a killer vs. survivor issue either. It's a player vs. dev issue.

The developers are so resistant on just simply making games more worth playing that in some ways its killing the game. They keep delaying fixes to solo-q, bloodpoints, and much more. I just played a game with a friend with a Dwight and a Mikaela as randoms, which is actually what made me want to post this in the first place as anymore most games go this way. So we're playing against Deathslinger, I'm working on a generator, and Dwight runs the Deathslinger right by the generator that I'm working on, making him leave the Dwight and chase me. I end up going down, which is fine, but then the Mikaela crouches behind a rock near the hook until I reach second stage, at which point she comes up and finally rescues me. Well after this I run off in a direction and start working on another generator, only to get found by Deathslinger and downed once again, dead because of being left on hook for absolutely no reason. I made 15,000BP on that game WITH an escape cake.

That game highlights the entire point of this post: Unless you have a full (or at least 3-man) SWF team playing survivor just simply isn't worth it sometimes unless you get lucky with a good team which is rare. You waste 5-10 minutes to get enough to buy MAYBE 2 items at most on the bloodweb, and with the new system if you only main one or a couple survivors or killers then it takes an extra 10 levels per person in order to get the desired perks that you want. It isn't even "Oh this killer is OP!!!" or "This survivor thing is OP!!!" at this point, it's just the fact that they won't even attempt to buff solo-q, instead choosing to balance the game around SWF players (that still can easily beat killers if they know how to play) and screwing over the solo-q players.

If devs would simply even make it easier to level characters up and get perks I would be totally fine with everything else but they won't for some unknown reason.

Biggest problem with the game is matchmaking. So many people think the game is killer sided or swf sided but It's really not. Bad teamates will lose more solo queue games than full slowdown wraiths and all the other non a tier or higher killers.

Solo-q just needs a buff. People suggested some diet version of Kindred at base if you're shoved into a match by yourself. I personally think more hand signal emotes that are labeled to mean a variety of other things would be cool. Like it does an animation for some specific hand signal but you're not expected to memorize them all. It just has splash text on the other person's screen as to what it means. Slightly slower second stage regression on hook for solo-qs would also be nice. I find that when playing solo everyone expects "the other guy" to go for the save so no one does. If there was a tad more time to diminish this hesitation issue that would be good. Maybe some of those emotes I mentioned would actually work across the map with like a speech bubble pointing to their hud icon and you could have a message like "I'm going for the save" as an option on this emote wheel.

I'd really love a casual mode that doesn't count for or against your pips, has no blood point earning and acted sort of like a custom match you could queue for (but it would still use your normal match inventory, maybe without actually consuming items and add-ons but not all level 3 perks like custom game I mean). But in this mode there would be proximity chat (with the killer too) and the hatch could spawn earlier like it used to.
