Why is there no 4K UHD and 60fps on series x|2 I want honest answer not a lie
This is just embarrassing that series X|s for Xbox doesn’t get 60fps and 4k UHD but even the optimization the doesn’t load any kicker but maybe a tiny amount so I demand the truth as of why it isn’t. No lies either

Because the game is extremely poorly optimized.
It doesn't use the Series X or PS5's power very well. Much like with powerful PC's, they just brute force their way through all the performance issues that the game has.
You can tell this is the case when you go to maps like Haddonfield or Garden of Pain. The FPS dips noticeably.

This is why I root for a DbD sequel someday. A different core engine can prevent bugs or weird jankiness from happening as stuff gets added. The Unreal Engine blueprints they use is impressive for the scale of the game. The issue is that at least some stuff remains buggy after updates.

It's because behavior didn't bribe the tiny elves that run that console with enough brown sugar. So they just do the bare minimum.
Oh. No lies? Damn.

what I meant was the if the devs respond I need a honest and some lazy answer such as Activision and all other toxic work companies

if my Series S can barely handle the House of Lag on Haddonfield, I wonder how my One S brethren haven't burst into flames.

They are in pain.
I played Garden of Joy on Xbox One and it was actually awful. Half the map looks untextured and it still runs like #########.

What about our long-suffering Switch cousins?

You think they're actually gonna respond?!?

I really feel for anyone who plays this game on console, I had to play DBD for the first time on console on ps4 because I was visiting my cousin's and I didn't realize how poor the framerate was. Major respect to people who do well on them.

Is BHVR even updating Switch optimization anymore?
Last I heard they knocked the resolution down and called it a day.

I think that patch removed their ability to record their games as well. No doubt that helps them in that reporting process we all love.
As for updates, I am not sure. I thought the way it works for live online games and consoles is so long as the makers support the console a game dev has to as well, something like that.
I am no expert at all, and am unsure if that's the case, nor how far that support works as hardware ages. I do think the bottom line is no one anywhere dreamed they would have had to support the last gen machines anywhere near this long.

It's a game from 2016 that was developed for PC only, got some success, and then was poorly ported to console under the assumption it wasn't gonna stick around long. The game was build on a plate of spaghetti and with each new update was tangled up even more making proper console optimization even harder as the years went on.

Okay now I get why thanks guys but I’m still keeping this up I don’t care if They don’t respond or not it’s still worth trying

I'm not going to be surprised if they go the route of other big games, issue a sequel, carry everything over, and make it free to play.

Do well is very subjective. More like gotten used to many things, kinda play around these other things over here, and still rage wildly when this or that still happens for years now...

Last word I remember about DBD 2 talk was the devs have no plans for making it, meaning it's just more updating of the existing rotini and ziti.
