BHVR, Please
The nerf to Reassurance is just mind boggling in my opinion. It will stil be a good perk, but the nerf is so ridiculously unnecessary. Like, you actually just catered to camping and tunneling killers with that nerf, it boggles my mind.
The hooked survivor should have a way to deactivate the perk so they couldn't be held hostage. That would have been the only change it needed. Instead, you nerf it in a way that will make it less effective for solo survivors in particular. I don't care if it will still be a decent perk, the nerf is so unnecessary, and just a bad sign in general. An anti-camping perk can honestly never be too strong.
And to be honest, this wouldn't be as bad if it got a counter buff as well. Like increasing the range you have to be in to a hooked survivor, like 12 or even 18 meters. That would have been a no brainer in my opinion.
Though to be fair, this nerf wouldn't be much of a problem if we just actually, finally received some baseline nerfs to camping and tunneling. Increase the hook phase duration from 60 to 70 seconds (especially needed since gen times were increased), remove hook grabs, and increase the endurance and haste effect duration to 10 seconds. Those are easy and adequate nerfs that wouldn't make killer impossible in any way, it would just nerf these cheap tactics properly, to make them more manageable and fair for survivors.
Also, now that the negativity is out of the way. One thing I do also want to mention is just how insanely amazing the changes to Wesker sound. No unnecessary buffs, just fantastic changes that will make him very fun to play as, but still also very fun to go against. The collision and hit box size reduction in particular are fantastic.
The only thing I am just a bit concerned about is the injure after Wesker vaults. I hope the survivor has to touch Wesker for them to be injured, so they can 100% avoid getting injured that way if they just keep enough distance to the pallet, it shouldn't be like a small shock wave or anything. Which means they also don't get injured if Wesker vaults right after they throw down a pallet. Because if he could injure survivors like that, that would probably make his power too strong at loops.
Edit: I am so sorry, I should really read dev notes more carefully before posting final thoughts on something. Thank you BHVR for buffing the endurance and haste effect after unhooking. Camping still needs to be addressed, but this is such a good step in the right direction. And it shows how much you are actually listening, and trying to balance the game into a much better state.

i agree, revert the changes to reassurance and make it so the survivor on hook can press their ability button to cancel the effect. boom the problem is addressed.

Exactly, 100% that. Though I am going to be honest, I wouldn't mind the nerf if they would have increase the range noticeably. 18 meters for example. Then you wouldn't kind of have to sacrifice yourself to counterplay camping, and then I also wouldn't mind it only working once per hook phase.
I am beyond happy to find out about the buffed endurance and haste status effect duration though. So i don't even want to be too harsh on the devs, because that change is just so awesome.
