You could've nerfed CoH instead of reassurance :(

Since I haven't expressed my hatred for circle in a while I thought I would with this new batch of perk changes.

Firstly, I do not understand why awakened awareness got nerfed. The only killer it was super strong/bordering OP on was starstruck nurse, but that's much more of a nurse issue than the perk being "oppressive with lethal persuer". The perk will pretty much never be ran because something like infectious or pain res + dms gives you more value.

And reassurance did need some touching in order to make it less abusable, but you could've indirectly nerfed the perk by addressing why killers sometimes feel the need to camp. Such as nerfing a perk that rhymes with "moon: snorkle of sealing" which incentivises killers to camp and tunnel due to the fact that this perk singlehandedly makes hit and run/split pressure playstyles incredibly difficult, especially for lower tier killers.

But no, reassurance gets nerfed instead of circle. I don't really understand that choice.

    Are we really still asking nerf for CoH?


    I think we just should start survivors on hooks, so finally killers can be happy. This honestly stopped being meme.

    CoH is still a problem for 90% of the killer cast and encourages camp/tunnel playstyles so yes I am still asking for a nerf.

    the only issue i have with coh and boons in general is that they can be placed in areas that require the killer to waste significantly more time to snuff it than normally. this is especially an issue on maps like ironworks of misery, you can have a boon covering basically all of the main building if a totem spawns in the upper area of it.

    CoH is fine. If anything, you'd want to nerf Botany Knowledge. 21.3 second heals are manageable, 16 second heals are not

    CoH is fine. Reassurance is good but can be abused and without this correction we all know it WILL be abused. Then nerfed hard. Then everyone will be pissed off.

    Killers because they were bullied by toxic SWF.

    Solo surv left on the hook forever.

    Normal player that wanted a protection from camping.

    Now ONE reassurance still can provide you one minute of time before the killer is able to camp to the death the first survivor!

    One minute plus the minute required by default is 2 minutes, plus the time to find and chase this guy you have 3 minutes of time! 2 reassurances are basically a 3 men escape against a camping bubba!

    I think they now should buff the distance in 8 meters.

    Even this is really only an issue for Circle of Healing and maybe Shadowstep for killers who favor long range aura reading like BBQ.

    In any other scenario the survivors don't get use from the Boon unless the Killer is actually close by to begin with.

    You're exaggerating. It's your own complaint. I have no problems with it. On top of that. I'd prefer full lobby with coh, which I recently had. Poor lads were blessing totems entire match. All dead.

    I play sadoko and while this perk makes it harder for me it's not nearly as strong as it used to be lol, especially when it's paired with sloppy butcher. I think it's fine as is. the only nerf I'd maybe call for is an internal cooldown if it gets snuffed, but that's really about it.
