A couple of ideas for Nurse

Ok i'm gonna start this with a disclaimer.

I do not play nurse myself. I am a killer main and have played nurse a handful of times but i don't activly play her at high MMR. I also don't overly play Survivor but when I do and come against a nurse i can see where players are coming from regarding her being to strong. Ok disclaimer over onto my ideas.

So i had 2 ideas to change nurse which I feel would bring some balance to her given just how strong she is right now.

Idea 1 - Reduce the aura reading capabilities of Nurse.

One of the main strengths of nurse which I feel makes her over powered is using a perk such as BBQ or another aura reading perk you can blink cross map to the exact location of a survivor.

I feel that the nurse should have a reduction in her aura reading capabilities as base kit (maybe with an addon to re-increase it). This would really limit the ability to hook someone then instantly be in another chase because of double range addons. Of course there are other ways to track survivors but i find that most nurses don't run addons like discordance and gen revealing perks.

idea 2 - Blinks reset upon certain actions and slower recharge rate of blinks.

One thing i find when im going against a nurse is no matter what you do to her she catches up so quickly because of her blink ability. She hooks a survivor, instant blink. Stun her, instant blink.

What if after every stun, every hook her blinks have to recharge. So basicly the act of being stunned removes your charges or the act of picking up a survivor removes your charges. This i feel would give survivors a fighting chance to 1, make distance to a loop and 2, actually hide from the nurse a bit more. Again something like this could be base kit with an addon such as "Stunning no longer removes blink charges"


So these are the 2 ideas ive had rolling around in my head and would love to hear what people think.

FYI I'm not saying these ideas are balanced and i may be way off the mark but i do feel that it would make her fairer to play and remove how OP she is. It would also mean that some perks that get nerfed "Just because it makes nurse op" could then be reverted, especially the aura reading one.

    This doesn't change the core issues with nurse. What she needs is a full rework. Such as:

    1. Nurse can no longer blink through walls or dropped pallets. Can still blink through windows.

    2. Nurse's fatigue is increased by 1 second per charge used.

    3. Blink attacks are no longer special attacks.

    4. Stunning nurse with a pallet while she is blinking makes her get stunned, THEN get fatigued.

    5. Blink range reduced to 16 metres.

    6. Full add-on nerf. Literally all of hers are way stronger than they should be.

    7. Nurse is now 110% movement speed.

    You cannot make a killer like nurse balanced. You need to go scorched earth, and maybe build her back up a bit if she proves a little too weak.

    All she needs is an add-on pass as her add-ons are either overpowered or complete garbage, and her blinks considered special attacks.

    It you change her blinks to special attacks, her movement speed also needs to be increased.

    That wouldn't be necessary, she can still blink through walls, traverse the map at a decent rate (not mentioning range add-ons) and still end chases quickly. The special attack condition is purely so she can't use Exposed perks while using her blink attacks. She would still be an extremely powerful killer if that was added either way.
