A Virus in the machine: Lore

In an alternate reality, an organization called Thetatek started to develop artificial mechanoids designed for heavy lifting and operating machines. During this time, news came out that China was advancing in more powerful artillery, which started a war between China and America named “The War of Technological Advancement”.

US Government contractors reached out to Thetatek so they could construct humanoid war machines, with hesitation, CEO of Thetatek “William T. Carlsberg” agreed.

Chinese sleeper agents got ahold of documents containing all contracts within the recent year, including the organization assigned to make robotic soldiers for the US Army. The Chinese government made a virus that could go into one of these machines and kill scientists and mechanics within the facility.

A spy was instructed to enter a R&D building of Thetatek and upload the virus into their latest model.

Security Guard Bob Kofron stands incompetently securing the observance room entrance while a crowd of researchers stand within, one of the researchers start a recording.

“This is test log 1150, we are observing the performance of model D-575. We’ll power the mechanoid shortly”

A researcher secretively inserts a USB drive into the console within the observation chamber.

“The machine weighs 785 pounds, 2 meters tall and has a built-in speaker inserted into the neck. It’ll be using a carbine airsoft rifle to shoot a target 24 meters away. We’ll start the test now.”

D-575 starts walking up to the window and violently smashes through. It grabs the spy and pins him against the floor to crush his head with his foot. All of the researchers start running out with the look of terror on their face, screaming for dear life. A few security guards rush in to shoot the robot down, but fail doing so. It snaps a guard's head and steals his gun. D-575 stands behind the doorway shooting researchers.

Bob is hiding next to the doorway in horror, he looks around and assesses the situation. He notices the robot's arm through the doorway. Bob slips his keycard into the reader, ripping off the robot's arm, sparks flying everywhere, as well as bodies.

Police were contacted and questioned Bob Kofron to understand what happened, but Bob instead he went home.

When the observation chamber door was opened, a robot wasn’t found, all that was found was its arm.

A few days later, Bob Kofron went missing.

New Killer: The Mechanoid

A rough sketch of what the killer might look like. (I didn't do a very good job with it's geometry.)

A war machine titled "D-575" made by a government contracted organization named Thetatek.

Power: Data Transformation

Every doorway and wall becomes a Mechanical Door, all doors begin open at the beginning of the trial.

At the start of the trial, four colored keycards spawn at random locations. The colors are Red, Orange, Yellow and Green. These keypads can unlock mechanical doors that have corresponding colored keycard readers.

Special Ability: Hack

Open and close Mechanical Doors by pressing E next to a keycard reader. Only five doors can be closed at a time during the trial. When the limit of closed door is reached, close a door to reopen the last door you've closed.

Animation: D-575 sticks his arm hole on the keycard reader and metallic sparks come off of it before it accepts access.

Special Ability: mysterious Gas

When a room is fully blocked off, all windows are blocked off with steel sliders and a black gas fills the room, putting anyone inside in the dying state.

PERKS:

Autocorrective adjustment

Start the trial with one token, with a max of 4/5/6.

When you miss a basic attack, the basic attack cooldown is lowered by 100%.

When used, lose one token. Gain tokens by kicking generators.

scan & aim

Scan the area for movement.

When a survivor is in a 45* cone within vision, press the Active Ability Button to lock your camera on the survivor for 4 seconds.

Scam & Aim has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

Arm for an Arm

He took your arm, now you can take his.

When all survivors are downed, kill the Obsession by hand.

New Survivor: Bob kofron

An obese security guard who chopped D-575's arm off with a mechanical door.

Description: Caucasian, brown hair with a mustache, obese, white shirt and black pants.

Perks:

Overweight

Using Overweight causes the Exhausted status effect for 40/30/20 seconds.

Falling from a great height and landing on the killer causes them to get stunned.

Overweight cant be used when Exhausted.

Opportunist

After unlocking a chest, see the killers aura for 10/20/30 seconds.

SEcurity worker

Taking a protection hit grants the protected survivor with the Endurance status effect until they are healed.

Has a cooldown of 60/50/40 seconds.

I like this power, its unique and feasible to do. But I would say he needs something else added to his kit and also specifications. If you were in a indoor map you could feasibly block of one or two of the generators to survivors and reduce patroling by a huge amount (when is a room fully blocked off?). Also all i can think about is this power potentially woudnt get any benefits in a whole game if the survivors are smart or with a swf. That's why i think it needs a extra power or a passive. I also kinda think the survivors need to get through the doors.

    Passive one: Virus

Survivors who approach the key pad section of a locked door can attempt to unlock it. This action takes 10 seconds, and the survivor will receive two skill checks which are the same size as mercilenses storms skill checks. Missing one of these skill checks increases the time that all doors can be hacked for the remainder of the trial (one second), the missed skill check lets of a loud noise notification. Also when missing the first skill check the progress of hacking is reset but you still only gain one more skill check. Missing both will result in the door to prevent you from hacking anymore, for the next 3 minutes that survivor cant hack that door. However, if the survivor succeeds at one skill check the door will open and will remain open for 60 seconds and the aura of the open door is revealed for 3 seconds, if both are hit open the door for 70 seconds.

    Passive two: Fire wall

The killer gains the feature update bar at the start of the trail.

At the start of the trial three computer mainframes will spawn which will remain inactive until update is active.

update has a progress bar of 100%, passively gain 1 percent every 15 seconds, Survivors who miss a skill check while hacking a door add 5% progress, missing both adds 12 percent progress, activating black gas while a survivor is inside that room will add 20% progress.

Upon reaching 100% you gain "update" during update the following applies.

Update is active for the remainder of the trail unless a survivor finds and interacts with a mainframe. Deactivating a mainframe removes 35 percent download progress and removes update but removes a mainframe for the rest of the trail.

All closed doors gain an inferred upgrade, survivors who go past a locked door within a 1.5 meter range will reveal their aura till the killer this effect deactivates one second after leaving the range. Doors take 20 seconds to open for survivors. You no longer need to go 2 key pads to close doors you can now look at a target door within 6 meters and close it from afar. Increase amount of closed doors available by two.

Lose all these effects once upgrade is taken away.

(takes 3 seconds to deactivate a mainframe)

The optional changes I made to your killers power and kit make them far more dangerous and makes doors a priority to get rid also giving survivors a different objective to get rid of your power as soon as possible.
