If BHVR relased a DBD classic game would you play it? (2017-2018 DBD)
Despite its flaws, bugs, huge amount of balance issues, would u actually play a older version of dead by daylight?
yes you would have to deal with first hook moris, insta heals, tripple vault main window loops until it gets blocked etc.
but same time you would have old killers, perks, maps, animations, movements, items, addons etc.

See-through Coldwind tiles, 1 hook moris, instant instaheals, pre-nerf DS, god windows pre-breakable walls? Hard pass. We'd do one or two games and come running back to current DbD.

Absolutely this. With how good players are now with their game knowledge it would be crazy survivor sided (even more so than it already was back then). Along with what edgar said, there was much more pallets, you could vacuum to windows and pallets, insta flashes, insta gens, old balanced landing, iri huntress, old cow tree, no EGC, not much cosmetics (I think), loss of progress bug was still plaguing the game, no dc penalty.
Not to mention the hardcore LAG SWITCHING with no hit validation - It'd be like you were stuck in time, only to be suddenly picked up, TPed across the map and hooked in 2 seconds if a killer lag switched hard enough.
Also, I'd rather not go back to 3 blink Nurses (or max 7 blink) with no additional cooldown mechanic either. No thank you!

Yeah. There were absolutely scenarios where it would go M1>survivor 1 tap instaheals>M1>Adrenaline>finally down survivor>DS on the way to their first hook. I don't mean to be snobby when I say killer has never been as easy as it is now. I say that because both sides used to have absurd amounts of complete BS at their disposal.

there are already groups out there who run servers with older versions, most popular is most likely version 1.9.3
It gets boring after the first hour or 2

I already play it, but queues are too long due to lack of players. U wont really get many games during the week
