Free Character Rotation
DBD NEEDS to add a free character rotation, just like multi versus, (completely different games I know) everyone's complaining about the game being pay-to-win. simple solution right there, plus it would encourage people to buy the characters after the rotation changes, I know it does for me. plus with the current roster of free characters, that's what caused the devs to believe self-care was meta, while it... very much was the worst perk in the game, if they want to encourage new builds and destroying meta, than giving players access to more perks is the best solution to kill the meta. OH ALSO it's sort of like getting to drive a car before you buy it, you could level ghost face up to level 50 love him, oh I actually really wanna keep him, so you buy him, such a novel concept.

Let’s say they did a weekly rotation. That would be enough time to get all 3 teachable thus losing BHVR money
Best course of action is to bring splinters back as a way to test killers before buying them without perks or add ons

I'd think the possibility of leveling up would probably be locked.
Other wise, just lock the ability to aquire their teachable perks. (Just so bhvr can't say "we'd lose money").

The weekly shrine already exists lol, they're not losing anything from people earning perks, and now you're completely spacing the concept of killers, survivors I know are purely cosmetic, but killers they're all unique yknow? you suddenly start maining one killer during the rotation, get really good with him, oh wow I really like this killer, *rotation switches* aw man I really liked him, I'll buy him to keep him, perks don't mean a damn

I think locking the teachables makes sense, although in multiversus, it's not locked, and I still end up buying the characters anyways lol, but yeah, just so they can't say that as a reason, and it can be purely for testing a character before you buy

Perks are the reason I bought the majority of killers (Artist, blight, slinger, pinhead, plague, legion, Myers, Trickster and Ghostface)
If I knew I could just wait for a rotation I wouldn’t have bought any of them thus losing BHVR a ton of money

you literally as of right now, can wait for a free rotation of perks, bhvr literally does not care, plus chapter's cost like 5 bucks, that is not where their money is coming from, it's all skins, skins cost more than chapter's, that's where they make the most money, but like the other person said, you could restrict it so you couldn't unlock teachables aka prestige them on free rotation, just so they couldn't say they'd lose money, seem fair?

With the issue of self care, it's actually nothing to do with it being on a free character. It's used highly in APAC regions.
Other than that, I do like this idea.
