Is dh validation turned off?
It feels like it, I've been getting hit consistently through it when I feel like i pressed it, didn't happen as much on old DH.
If they went through the effort of adding DH validation all that time ago, then why would they remove it now when its more based on reaction time than ever

0,5s is too short for these laggy servers to be reliable.

I'm curious on this, if it even still is a thing with the change. Sure as heck hope so if it's .5 sec!

I stopped using it after being exhausted on the ground two games in a row. It's definitely wonky again.

Feel like it could use a slight buff, to .75 or so. It's so temperamental on console.

They tried that on PTB and killers complained.

They need to decide how we are supposed to use the perk.
If we are supposed to use the perk reactively (eg. after a lunge attack), then DH should be client-sided and not depend on killer ping.
If we are supposed to use it proactively, then 0.5 sec is too short, the lunge attack duration is longer than 0.5 sec.
Current Dead Hard is extremely inconsistent, in some games I get insane value out of it, then in other games it doesn't work at all even though I pressed it in time. It is also a shame that it doesn't work with OtR.
