Wesker is the least fun killer to play against
His power is basically nurse - practically no recharge and covers the same distance just as fast. It can't go through walls, but with the buff it still hurts you over pallets and vaults, and he doesn't even have to have the skill to land it on you, you just need to be in its path.
In addition to this insane power, he's a full 4.6ms killer. On indoor maps it's nearly impossible to locate him due to his insane terror radius so he gets quasi-stealth on those maps, nullifying his disadvantage over nurse's ability to go through walls on those maps. And he gets a fun little minigame with infection too, adding a little bit of inbuilt slowdown on top.
You won't see sweats playing Blight anymore, that's for sure, Wesker vastly outclasses him.
See you guys in a week when hopefully this killer is being played less because facing him is utterly unbearable. Plus I have noone left to play with because my whole friends list already just dropped the game from this update.

Which is the unfun part?
When he can't hit you with his bound because the hitbox is so tiny or how you can chain loops on him because his power cooldown is long?

I find him fun to verse, but Spirit is the most fun of all.

The thing with Nurse (beyond the 'going through walls' issue) is that she can aim after a blink, making her incredibly difficult to avoid when played skillfully. Blight can also do this by choosing when to attack, and has far more mobility and ability to course-correct than Wesker.
With his current hitbox, Wesker shoots right past me just as often as he actually hits me with his power. Perhaps more often. And then his power will end up wasted if it's in an open area. He's nowhere near Nurse's level.

To be fair this has also been my exact experience. I also feel like putting the game down after playing today. Solo Q is horrendous, it's been like 10 consecutive 4k stomps where people went down to him within 10 seconds.

Unfun is irrelevant if there’s no balance issue. Fun is subjective and you will never ever have a versus game where all players always have fun.

Wesker is fine, you should learn how to play against him tho. He is new killer, give him some time.
And honestly, his hitboxes needs to be looked. It is so bad.

His power honestly sucks, I'm surprised anyone is having trouble against him. I will dash directly through a survivor and it won't give me the grab. This happens multiple times per match. He's basically an M1 killer with lines voice acted by Nigel Thornberry.
I would refund the DLC if I could, it's garbage-tier.

Wesker doesn't feel that strong when I verse him. I haven't played him yet and people are still learning his power but, currently, I think he's B tier; maybe low A. I have lost to him a lot today so far but the majority of the losses come from survivor mistakes (letting people go down 2 hook stages; getting 3 genned etc, not doing gens whenever possible, etc) rather than the Killer actually doing that much. On one game, for example, if Wesker chases me for 3 minutes or so and in that time not a single gen pops the Killer isn't the reason we lost at 4 gens left.

Yes, but see, this is why so many people complain that it doesn't seem like BHVR plays their own game, because these problems would be obvious to anyone who spent more than 5 minutes playing.
Maybe it's ping-related and BHVR only tests on a LAN where it's easy to get latency <1ms, I dunno. But from where I'm standing, I don't see how anyone could play Wesker and think that his power's hitbox is good as-is.

There's no way Wesker is worse than Plague, Legion, or Nurse. The worst I can say is that it's very redundant right now but that's normal for new release day.

He is really fun to go against in my opinion. Unlike killers like Artist, he has a good amount of fair counterplay, especially at loops, which is so great honestly.

I find Wesker to be the most fun Killer to go against, honestly. His basekit is strong, but has fair and fun counterplay, and he also doesn't have ridiculously strong addons that severely lower that counterplay (which is what Blight suffers from).

I think the thing that gets most survivors is that they took the dash away from dead hard and in the very next chapter put a dash power on the new killer so now they cant dash away.
My main issue with Wesker...How I slammed a pallet in his face at the end of his dash yet, he was still able to grab me at the same time the pallet hit him and he was able to grab me

Missing/not htiting a survivor has a 3 second cooldown and throwing a survivor has a 5 second cooldown.
The first one is standard and the second one is one of, if not the longest "hit" cooldowns in the game.

I played a few games against him so far, and when they don't have their bounds mastered, it's actually quite fun dodging the charges. Quite a few chases ended with M1.

SWF with Discord and picking perks doesn't fix the skill issue. It fixes the winning issue. The two can be mutually exclusive.

Occasional benefit? Dude has mobility + slowdown + loop denial + some anti-loop in a single tentacle strike. He is REALLY good.

Haha if you think Wesker is anywhere near blight I don't even know what to say. Blight can essentially do everything wesker does but better. You are forced to m1 at many more tiles than blight is. Blight can 85% of the time find a way to use his power in a tile. His recharge time is worse than nurse. I have 0 idea how you came to that conclusion.

I'm enjoying going against him, personally. He is tricky on indoor maps though, I agree. Had an RPD match and twice I didn't notice him until I saw his red stain coming up behind me. But that just adds another layer of fun.

My problem with Wesker is how good he is at tunneling. You're basically screwed if a semi decent Wesker wants to tunnel you when you're infected. Like how are you supposed to win in this scenario? You're already injured coming off the hook but now you're fully hindered on top of it. They should pause the infection while someone is being chased or for a period after being unhooked.

Wesker is another example why the PTB needs to change drastically:
Barely anyone ever tests stuff to begin with, and then changes happen based on lackluster feedback that in turn are not tested thoroughly

We have a couple of threads were people complain how weak Wesker feels and how his power got nerfed at launch, and here we have others trying to convince us that good boi Wesker casually dethroned Blight. What a time to be alive.

it's a new day. I stand by yesterday's games being the most awful ones I've experienced on DBD, but sleep has reminded me that every single freaking game was on RPD and maybe I should blame the map instead. Guess it's time to confirm my feelings on him today.

Finally managed to get a few Wesker games not on RPD - was getting it straight every game for 6 hours yesterday. Also got a couple of RPD games with other killers.
I still don't like Wesker but goddam, RPD is the problem. How is it so much worse than old RPD.

Have you even tried to play against him?
His hitbox is very slim now. Like you are a cannonball. You either hit perfectly or don't. You can't decide when your dash hits the survivor, you can't lunge, you can't correct mit dash. It's hard countered by DH on long distances. If he misses, he goes the full distance.
If he vaults in the wrong moment, you can chain loop him because of his cooldown. He can't M1 during that time.
The "buff" was intended from the beginning. Blight is also 4.6m/s and has broken addons on top of that (*cough* ring *cough*). His 40m TR exists because of his slowdown. Which you never really have to deal with anyway. There are enough crates.
Then I see you in a week. Probably still complaining because you won't have used that time to actually learn to vs him.

The pallet grab seems to be either a bug or (more likely) a latency issue.
