100% BP to die in Solo Q
Here is a summation of my DBD experience today, which comprised of one game of solo Q survivor.
Even attempting to boot up a game of solo Q I am filled with the thoughts of "Why should I even try this?" Finally I decide to play a game, since there is the BP incentive and maybe I get an easy game with a killer learning Wesker.
Load in, someone is getting tunneled to death at 4 gens left. I took a bodyblock hit unhooking them while they are getting facecamped.
Get in an actual chase after 2 people already tunneled to death, the Wesker is terrible and whiffs every attack, and loses me entirely because of Parental Guidance + Head On. Other teammate dies, I get the hatch.
Are they ever gonna make this experience any less awful? I escaped and it was still M1 simulator while other people get tunneled to death. There is no "gitting gud" or playing better in this game. This patch didn't solve anything

Didn't you hear? They addressed tunnelling and camping. You also have Reassurance now! You -can't- be having this experience.
Sarcasm aside, yeah, pretty much. No amount of bloodpoints is going to make solo Q an enjoyable experience.

Can we get away with hiding in lockers the entire game? Thats my plan.

Get good.
I can go out in solo-q in 50% of my games.

I'd be wary of queuing survivor at 100% bonus. It probably means you're going to be put in a lobby at the far end of your MMR bracket.
1 -
That is implying MMR works even remotely. Anyone playing this game for any length of time knows it's non functional. I've played too many games with actual matchmaking to believe this one really does anything.
And I got a 100% escape rate for the day. What is your point?
2 -
I feel like it's a no win scenario. It's either long queue times or busted matchmaking. I got 3500 hour juicers one game and then the next it was a 50 hour Nea urban evading around the map. I'm pretty confident that the MMR system just does not work at all.

I mean the game has been trash since the DS nerf. That's just facts. I play it less than ever which is a shame because it used to be my favorite game.
Solo Q has always been pretty bad but at least before you could count on DS buying you a little bit of time. Now someone gets hard tunneled at 5 gens, more than likely they won't have DS, and you just automatically lose.
I really think the only people left playing are either people who don't care how unbalanced it is, or people who are too new to realize. Because you just CANNOT lose as killer if you are any good these days. 100+ winstreaks were pretty common before but now? I am sure some streamers will be putting up 1000+ winstreaks in this very balanced game with a good MMR system

I'm 0/3 for solo games, today - It happens (2 were definitely hatch/gate misplays on my part).
I mean RRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

Play Nurse with range addons I guess.

It's crazy how much a blood point bonus increases my survival rate. Just yesterday I was escaping about 25% of my games. I log in today and I am escaping two thirds of my games. Looks like survivors have been trolling for the past month.

Now survivors are actually trying for the bonus BP 😂

I too loaded up dbd a few days ago to try a solo q match. I had 15 minutes to kill, so why not, I thought to myself.
I loaded into a match on eyrie of crows against a dredge who chased one survivor for 2 gens before they managed to hook them. I popped the 3rd right as they got put on the hook.
Long story short he just facecamped, slugged, and then tunneled out the first survivor he caught at the start of the match and then continued to slug, camp, and tunnel until everyone died. We all died with 1 gen left.
The week before that I had tried to play solo q and played one match against a sadako that played out the same exact way.
Killers used to be able to be punished for tunneling one survivor because you could rush gens and a good survivor could loop a killer for 3+ gens. Now they all just bloodlust and use the basekit chase changes and 90 second gens to tunnel and camp and are rewarded for it. I'm also pretty sure not having any survivor meta perks and the changes to map tiles doesn't really help the situation either.

It do be feeling like that.

Can I have your games? Killers are still camping and tunneling early to mid game in mine, and no one is making it out.
1 -
Funny enough, I have only seen one person get tunneled all day and it was me. Much better than before patch which was literally every single game.
0 -
Only 50%? Sounds like you're the one who needs to get good.
0 -
Lmao that surely hasn't been my experience. I've been having quite a lof of fun with survivor this evening.
0 -
It definitely works. It's just implemented more loosely than people expect.
0 -
And I get out 100% of the time. Either;
A) The hatch
B) The exit gate
C) When the entity sucks me off
I assume if youre escaping 50% of the time youre playing selfishly? Left Behind gamer? Can you imagine how miserable all games would be if people played like that?
1 -
Yeah that post a while back about "how I 'win' more than 50% of my solo queue games" and it's basically the most selfish build you can think of with the goal of getting hatch and simply surviving.
Admittedly games have been slightly better but not by much. Number one priority bar none should be improving solo queue experience. Very simple things that Survive with Friends has.
- The chase notification should work for ANYONE not just the obsession. Knowing that someone is in a chase frees up a LOT of power for survivors but you don't get this intel in any way whatsoever unless it's the obsession. SWF gets this with comms. This alone would significantly improve solo survival rates.
- Kindred should be base kit. The amount of times I see two/three people go for an unhook or NOBODY go for an unhook is just frustrating. Granted I run Kindred and died on 1 hook with no camping today but that was... special and I'll admit there is no medicine that can cure a fool but sometimes people have the best of intentions but no communication so things don't work out.
- Chat wheel. One for basic signs and what not that indicate something. Pointing and motioning only go so far. Four options could be for perks to indicate you are trying to do something. For example if I've got inner healing active, I can heal myself, I don't need you to do it and that's why I'm hiding in lockers. (Yes I had the cleanse totem challenge, I really hate that one I feel like a liability who counters boon users).

I dont use this sht perk. You just need to read the game.
I give u an example. When 1 survivor is dead while 4 gens are left, dont expect all gens to get done, especially if u see what the others do... or not do.
Im using Clairvoyance as backup-plan if the other survivors hide in corners or crouch around instead of doing something. Im using Wake-Up too. Then Deadhard and BT/OTR/Prove Thyself. Sometimes Lithe, sometimes SB, sometimes Sole Survivor, sometimes Distortion.
Oh and I bring a medkit or toolbox in the game.

then you’re one of the worst killer main when they play survivor

Your sentence makes no sense.

You dont even get the bonus matchmaking incentives if you have crossplay turned off, so it feels about the same for me.

Honestly, this is probably as good as it's going to get in this game. I personally haven't experienced any tunnelling today, but I was definitely expecting it because people are learning Wesker while still wanting the 4k. So lots may resort to strategies they don't usually employ in order to get some kills until they learn how to control Wesker better. And some will just always tunnel. I'm a survivor main and even I can't see what else BHVR can really do about it at this stage. Some killers will always tunnel, no matter how many endurance perks the devs throw in between them and survivors.

When killer mains of this forum play surv they escape 100% of times
