Idea: Slather Wesker in oil
There are currently two types of collisions Killer dash powers have in reaction to hitting an object while going fast.
Bumping: Killer stops completely and has a moment where they can only collect themselves (Hillbilly, Bubba, Lunging Pig, Demogorgon.)
Sliding: Killer does not care; Is too greasy to be stopped and just kinda slides against the obstruction until he gets around it, the power ends, or he decides to go somewhere else (Oni)
Blight has a blistered foot in both camps, depending on specific map objects and how far up or down he's looking while he charges. He's... special.
For Wesker, if you're having this much trouble figuring out the proper terrain hitboxes for his lunge, why not give him the Oni treatment and just say he doesn't wall splat? Wesker was all about quick dodges and fancy footwork in his home series, sliding would better represent him stepping around debris as he lunges forwards. He'd still have to take into account larger obstructions though, since he could still have a good chunk of a dash wasted if he went straight into a big obstruction that isn't easy to finagle around. The lack of a bump cooldown animation would be offset by the fact that he's going to do his full dash no matter what now; The second dash is actually fairly lengthy in time if uninterrupted, not to mention the sheer amount of distance it can cover if it's not in the best direction for you.
He'd be more dangerous in narrow areas where abilities like this should be scary, since he'd just kinda slide off of small collisions and may possibly unlock some baby Blight techs in some loops, but would have to be extra wary that he isn't going to send himself off into the sunset with a poorly thought out second lunge.
