Can Wesker body block after grabbing a survivor with virulent bound?

I've had multiple occasions where after I grab the survivor they seems to try to run through me but end up just staying in place and turning around. I can't tell if they're actually standing still or they're trying to get around me. I can't find any answers anywhere. Thanks!

    No. Survivors have no collision for 1.8 seconds after being injured.
