People who BM as survivors

Not small BM's like flashlight macro at the ground to get you to chase them. Like outright tbagging after every pallet/window. Flash macro for no reason mid chase to just be rude. Emote spamming at you.

Why do these people get mad when you tunnel/camp them out of the game? They are literally asking for it with these kind of taunts (especially if you know they're a 4 stack).

Dang, gramps coming out here from left field with real wisdom, lol

I can't stand when they do that even when they're on my team. Congratulations, you participated in a normal game function. If a killer isn't doing the stupid head nods, camping, or tunneling off the hook and they're doing that, I won't save them.

Lol yh survivors like that frustrate me. Like it's unecessary and I'm going to tunnel you for it. Or if you are a pro mlg looper i'm just not going to let you bait me. Have fun getting hatch after i kill all the others. They get so salty when they realise they can't bait and loop you.

I would think so, but a lot of people end up talking massive trash about getting tunneled at the end after doing this stuff.

Tbh I think the ones that do it are probably the stronger loopers who want to be chased/tunnelled

A lot of times. Usually once I identify them as the "super-loopers" I just ignore them and go after the rest of the team. Usually in their frustration to get you to chase them, you can catch them unaware in a dangerous position and get a down on them. Otherwise like someone else said, win the match and let them have hatch.

In my experience... survivors don't usually taunt out the gate unless they a) have a lot of experience in the game, and want to rub it in your face, or b) they're high af or several beers deep and goofing around.

After the first pallet drop, you'll typically be able to tell which category they fall under.

If the survivor is good, take advantage of the fact they are showing you their hand, and go chase someone else--wait until the arrogant survivor is out of position to strike them down.

If the survivor is clearly inebriated, take the BM with a grain of salt and enjoy the fact that you probably have an easy game ahead of you.

While yes, confident veteran players try to bait Killers to take aggro they're usually more respectful about it by doing stuff like staring at the Killer while they're standing out in the open or literally running through the Killer's LoS on purpose. At least for me when they click its normally just once, its not excessive throughout the whole match or macro spamming

For me and everybody I know its usually the weakest links on a team that do the exaggerated **** like spamming a vault near the exit gate after taking 0 chases, flashlight macroing or attempting to moonwalk after the most basic plays or even for no reason, going down fast multiple times in embarrassing fashion or hiding for most of the match while they get hard-carried by their teammates. These are the ones you see waiting at the exit gate every single match they escape and then taunting people in endgame chat and console messages

9.5/10 for me the best players on a Survivor team I'm going against will always instantly run out of the gate as soon as its opened or use a pallet stun to get max distance, they don't waste time and they don't taunt in most scenarios that they can. They'll do it occasionally which is fine, but I swear Its literally the most boosted players that act the worst

Ehh, no big deal honestly. Does it hurt your pride? I really don't care if you teabag. Most of the time, I'm trying to just get better at a certain killer so I'm not going to know every little trick (ex. Blight).

It also depends on context of the situation.

I specifically started running a pretty..well, I guess you can call it selfish but its an end-game build, tailored towards me being the last one alive. Now I know what you're thinking (he just lets his team die) but no I don't. I play the game like usual and I don't teabag during it. The ONLY time I'll ever teabag is when I power a gate (with Sole Survivor & Wake Up, Adrenaline to heal me when killer closes hatch). Cause I mean..I earned that. And I know the killer damn well didn't expect me to open a gate within 5-8 seconds. I don't do it to shove it in the killer's face, more of a 'Hey you did well but I bet you didn't count on me getting out, especially with you slugging the 3rd survivor to bait and kill me'.

I don't know man. I think a lot of people that play this game are complete snowflakes and take things too seriously. Oh no teabagging! My whole session is ruined & now I'm in a bad mood!

Usually it's a sign I'm going to leave them alone until I'm sure I can kill them.

I try not to reward children crying for attention by giving them what they want. Ignoring them is often better.

Survivor BM is just this, not that bad. It's over in a second, not that I defend it. The Killer can still roam the map and actually play.

When Killers BM (facecamp, slug) survivors are forced to just sit there.

    What is worse?

In my experience, even though I know it happens of course, I don't see much BM from survivors. Usually the Killer is in control from the get go anyway.

You're confusing killer BM with strategy. It's simple. Survivor tbagging and flashlight clicking doesn't give them an advantage, and is just to annoy. Killers camping and tunneling can be annoying, but it first and foremost gives them an advantage, and often times they have to do it at least a little to win.

No I am not. Strategic proxy camping and slugging for the 4K as part of the trial is fine. Do you think that is what I am talking about??

Slugging all 4 at the ground, nodding your head instead of hooking them. That is BM.

Facecamping 1 survivor at 5 gens left as Bubba and refusing to leave. That is BM.

Please tell me you see the difference.

Lol I've legit had teabagging and clicking players DC when they realise I'm not going to pay attention to them. They'd rather leave the match and wait 5 minutes than actually help their teammates do gens.

Good chance they're under 18 (and thus shouldn't legally be playing a PEGI 18 game anyway). If they're on steam it's always worth checking if they admit their age on there so you can report it ;)

IMO if you are gonna be cheeky as survivor expect killer to double down and make you regret it ,,though 75 % of survivors being cheeky also are mediocre at game and are free hooks

I don't know about macro clicking, but why am I tunneled at 5 gens and then camped? I don't even use flashlight.

I do all these things religiously because it’s usually the ONLY thing that will make a killer commit to me for more than 45 seconds of chase. Killers give up SOOOO easily (understandable). So I like to taunt them.. I personally don’t mind getting tunneled or camped. My team always comes through after getting all the gens done anyway.

I would say majority for me are usually pretty good at looping when they do it but I have seen the ones you are talking about as well.

  • danielmaster87
    danielmaster87 Member Posts: 9,351

I see the difference, but that's because you're including head nodding in one. Simply slugging or simply facecamping at 5 gens still serve a purpose. What is it with people forgiving camping and tunneling when the killer's already losing, but acting like they're the worst people that ever lived when it happens to be at 5 gens?

  • danielmaster87
    danielmaster87 Member Posts: 9,351

By aggro the killer, you mean aggravate. You just being there sets you up as a target for the killer to go for. You don't have to tbag or flashlight click spam to get their attention.

So if I'm not "justified" in camping or tunneling, I'm not allowed to do it? I'm only allowed to do it once I'm already losing? What if losing IS my average match, since I'm not usually playing Nurse or Blight?

I can't think of any other PvP games where a player can choose to not let the other participate in gameplay. To me, this is worst kind of BM. Behaviour has said themselves that they do not like this, but they are struggling to come up with a method to punish it without punishing strategic ways.

During the game I really only get mad when its pre throwing the entire map into tbags everytime. End game though is just bm, they know you can't do anything about it and it just becomes a power trip. It's like if a killer is hitting you on hook. Tbh though I do hit on hook only when a survivor kills themselves early though, if I am not in chase.

Right, so I can go for 12 chases, no other strategy, and win?
