Anonymous mode makes it easier for cheaters
Currently, if you encounter a cheater with an anonymous mode turned on, there's pretty much nothing you can do.
You cannot check their profile, you don't know their nickname or ID, you know nothing. The only one thing that you can do is create an in-game report (but it doesn't really do much... does it?). There had been (and still there is) a similar problem with crossplay players, because you also don't know their actual unique ID and you cannot give a link to their profile, you can only provide their nickname (which can be changed by them).
Now cheaters will just turn that mode on and basically avoid being directly reported by submitting a ticket. It's a shame, because I've already encountered one, made a video, submitted a ticket, but the only thing I was able to give was: "Nea Karlsson 02".

Report them in-game and then open a ticket. BHVR already confirmed they removed id64 requirement from the ticket form, so just attach proofs - all other information they'll have on their side.

I find this much easier than before. Took me a bit and I was also on the bandwagon at first but it streamlines the reporting process for the better.

Yeah. I had a tough time trying to find id64 of hacker who used custom link. There's no way to get id64 without special widgets or 3d party sites, afaik. Ofc hacker later changed the link. Thanks to my friend I found id64 link via special site so I added it to the ticket before link was changed (and week later I saw a vac ban on their profile), but gosh id64 was so annoying to look for. I really glad BHVR now get tgeir own information and don't force me do their job.

Yeah like others have said the reporting process is still the same. The only thing is that you can't check a profile to look if they have previous vac bans anymore.
