What did I just witness?
Picture this. You're me. You load into a dbd match. Someone plays a fog offering. "Haha, that's cute." I think to myself, content with the knowledge that these offerings do nothing.
The match starts. Eyrie of Crows. I don't like this map one bit, but I give one last amused grin at the thought of a fog offering played on one of the brightest and thus least foggy maps in dead by daylight.
then I see this:
This is the only screenshot I took, but the rest of the map was similar, with thick fog everywhere. This might not seem impressive but personally It's the only time I've seen the fog machine function while playing this map, and maybe even the entire game.

Fog used to be pretty insane with offerings, and yeah - Eyrie is something special with one of them.
It's also why I like to run a fog offering when I'm doing the Vanity Myers thing :)

This might be the only instance where the Fog still works as it should.

It's actually a bug, it doesnt matter what rarity of Mist/Fog offering you play, it will apply the effect several times until it hits the cap for the amount of Mist/Fog.

Wow, that's a lot of fog! 😮

I’d love the game to always look like this.
would it get annoying after a few games? Yes. But it’d be worth it!
I suppose the best way to go would be to make an “increased fog” setting for custom games.

It would be nice for DbD to feel more like a horror game. I wouldnt mind it at all tbh.

So... you just throw one in and instant profit? Usually you have to do something else to get a bug to work, that needs to be fixed pretty fast if that's the case

It just has to do with the mist offering applying the same effect over and over, nothing else as far as Im aware. But it also works both ways, stuff that removes Mist/Fog also has it's effect applied... Ive never tried running both offerings at once on Eyrie of Crows so Idk what would happen.

Okay, this is impressive.
And you're right, it's even funnier that it is on Eyrie of Crows :'D

Weird, that can be a pain on dark maps that don't need any fog to help hide the survivors, lol
