Don't cleanse Plaything

Plaything really isn't that strong of a Hex and its perfectly possible to play the entire match without cleansing it. The perk is almost always run with Pentimento, which is a much stronger Hex perk.

If you don't have a boon, just don't bother.

It really depends on the situation. If it's a map where you have high LoS, you can safely ignore it. But if you're somewhere like Lery's? If the killer can instadown? I'm cleansing that totem like it's out of style.

Penti's not bad if you're responsible about re-cleansing any bones you broke.

Don't cleanse a hex totem worth more points than a gen, followed by don't cleanse a hex totem worth more points than a gen in the exact same spot? Hah, I'll farm that the whole trial. More fun than most trials, anyway.

DBD feels way more like a horror game when you're oblivious

Plus it's not that crippling of a debuff most of the time

Doesn't stop my teammates finding my totem and cleansing it though

Depends on the map and the killer. Open map where I can see the killer from far away? I’ll probably ignore it.

Lots of LOS blockers and/or a killer that can quickly end a chase especially if they catch me off guard? I’ll deal with pentimento.

Please do so us killers have more time to kill the survivors

Nah being oblivious is not fun to deal with

Hell nah, I am horrible at survivor. I am not about to play without hearing a terror radius. Maybe if it is a killer with a lullaby I will leave it alone, but otherwise, I am going to get rid of it. Can't you get rid of Pentimento anyway? I feel like I only ran into it once and it was such a non-issue as we rushed gens regardless.

Pentimento isn't a huge deal either though?

It's kinda fun to bring plaything and not pentimento and see survivors not purify them xD.

Or bring devour hope along penti and plaything on a high mobility killer who can defend his totem and watch them unravel.

you can get rid of pentimento unless they big brain save pentimento until all 5 totems are broken, then at 5 pentimento tokens all totems are blocked. That being said that would require at least 3 hex perks, unless they break dull totems for no reason.

I keep running into the loving embrace of the killer with Plaything, so I apologize. It's either that or I die.
