Dredge Is Just Better Sadako
Anyone who likes Sadako kind of got slapped in the face when Dredge got released, there's literally almost no incentive to play Sadako over any other killer in the game, pretty much ever, unless you're a die hard Ring fan.
It's ridiculous to me how they release one killer with this premise of being stealthy, but ruin said stealth mechanics by having the condem mechanic be revealed at the start of the match, so you have no shot at being stealthy against a survivor who has an average IQ.
Aside from some ways you can play her with addons and mori mechanics, there's literally no incentive to play Sadako over even someone like Wraith.
It's just hilarious to me how the moment Dredge came out, they actually did him right, and he has a similar premise as Sadako does power wise. Why'd they just not think about Sadako for the most part? They really nailed her vibe and her sound design, but her gameplay is just so horrible.
I wish she was better because she's my favorite horror icon, but alas, she's now with Freddy in terms of how disappointed I was when playing them for the first time.

To be clear even if dredge didn't exist sadako would be bad. The core of her problem is that her insta kill mechanic is so theoretically powerful it has to limit her entire kit. If the way to build up condemned was separated from her mobility or if condemned was no longer an instant kill she could have significant buffs to her teleporting.

if they buffed condemned to actually do something without needing to dedicate 2 addons and a build and your entire playstyle around it, then sadako would be in a great spot
id suggest making manifest m1s making a stack of condemn build up passively when theres no chase (like how tapes work), and make it so tvs turn off for less time from teleporting, but make taking out tapes turn tvs off for longer

i agree it needs to be buffed, but it should not be a thing you get off every game. just a threat like pighead

i agree, but my suggested changes should make it so people do tape deliveries more, so they waste time (like against pig), bc if they dont they are at risk of murder (like against pig). condemn isnt uncounterable, even if you have all 7 stacks you can get hit and pull off the tape delivery during sadakos hit cooldown

So you think this will solve everything?
Her slowdown would be still useless, her add-ons would still be for most part bad and her stealth would be still ruined by her lullaby.

Not only better but his power with Nightfall is more unique as well since Sadako feels like something between old Freddy and Wraith but worse.
She is still fun to play as and againts tho.

any killer without a chase power will always be trash, but this would make it easier to apply condemned and keep up with survivors at mid-stage of the game
