there is currently a bug with wesker where sometimes he will hit you with his power, and injure you, but you wont get the speed boost and the game wont count you as injured until you either get hit with his power again or hit with an m1, and then it will seem like you were instadowned. I also believe that when this happens, you are held in place for much longer then you should be, as when it has happened to me, i was prevented from moving at all until wesker came out of the throwing animation. I am unsure the steps to replicate this bug, all i know is that it doesnt happen when he slams you into a wall.
