Why BHVR is so slow at fixing their game?
Okay so i played a few Wesker games since the "bugfix" patch, and it turns out there are still multiple bugs remain.
He still infect but doesnt grab survivor in some instances.
He still cannot deal with elevation.
He still stucks with his power in the exit gates.
I thought this bugfix patch was supposed to be focused on fixing Wesker primarily, however they fixed like 2 things out of god knows how many. So when should we expect these bugs to be fixed, in the next midchapter patch?

The elevation one is def annoying. And I'm gonna assume the infect but not grab is latency.

Because that's not their priority. Their priority is releasing new DLCS and skins as fast as possible, not fixing their game.

I think in general they improved on their quality compared to the dark times (Twins chapter) but yeah, seems like priority lies on new content and many of the bugs seem inconsistent and I’m some cases hard to reproduce and therefore hard to fix? (Not only talking about Wesker bugs but generally)
at this point, it is a massive and complex game with many different mechanics that are also directly affecting eachother (perks on all characters and therefore all killer powers) so naturally, bugs appear everywhere and it gets worse with every new chapter and going back to fix these bugs will also be more and more challenging..
So when should we expect these bugs to be fixed, in the next midchapter patch?
usually there are two bugfix patches coming after a big update, and the first one isn’t meant to fix everything especially not if the fix takes more time. So there is possibly coming a second bugfix patch for Wesker/Project W chapter in a week or so

I dont think perks or other things interfere with these Wesker bug situations. This is purely his power and they didnt make it work correctly. I think they improved on balancing the game, however the pace at which they deal with bugs in the game is still horrendous. And i dont know the reason, is it because it is complicated for them, or they havent acknowledged these particular bugs, or maybe they really dont care and they immediately put all workers on creating new content.
Like im pretty sure now that i'll have to wait till midchapter or maybe even more for them to address these bugs. And i'll be lucky if they deal with them at all. Hopefully they will prove me wrong, but after playing this game for a long time i dont have much faith.

All the problems come from the core code that it was bad coded. To resolve these bugs, devs should code again all the game from the scratch. That's the reason why they add some superficial modifications & changes instead to rework in depth the game for patch/correction.

that’s not true at all. The base code is problematic and that’s actually something that the devs have confirmed as well afaik. But bugs and problems can and will happen independently from that all the time in software development.

And it is apparently so long to fix all of them, so the devs aren't in charge to do it. They prefer to change totally a mechanic instead to fix some things as bugged collisions, rollbacks, exhaustion on the ground,...
If you was curious about that, you could use a mod for DbD to see the old state of the game with a lot of features ingame as 3D static models, collisions hitboxes and many others gaming informations... You will understand more precisely what I mean bc it really give a good idea how is designed this game & how it is right now.
But it is DbD and we all forgive it at the end...
