They answered me about Plague's rift skin on prime
So, i did a question about recicle skin on rift and unfortunetly but, already expect, the answer was:
'exclusive was the wrong word"...
From Ticket...
"We are extremely sorry for the misunderstanding due to the use of the word "exclusivity". Although we strive for 100% customer satisfaction, we completely understand how frustrating it must have been to face this situation.
Our team is currently working on fixing this wording for future drops. We truly apologize for disappointing you.
We understand that some form of compensation would be appreciated to make up for this negative experience. However, we must inform you that we will not be able to provide any compensation for this issue as you already have 3/3 pieces of the entire outfit.
Customer Satisfaction is our topmost priority and we realize that this time we were not able to meet your requirements. We would like to sincerely apologize for the inconvenience."
So, you can expect more skin from old rifts coming to prime.

I don't think anything ever said this skin in particular was exclusive to Prime. If you thought that, it was your own misunderstanding, and their response is honestly quite generous because no apology from them is necessary.

Amazon prime say it

Sure, there are some exclusive cosmetics. This wording doesn't imply that every cosmetic offered would be exclusive.

there's no gentle way to say it, but
i genuinely care so little

"only for prime members" That skin was offered in a rift, is not only prime members... is not exclusive. The annoucement dont tell the truth
6 -
That's why I cancelled my prime subscription. If one day there's an "exclusive" that I need, maybe I join in again.

You're missing my point.

Exclusive cosmetics AND offers; last month they made an exclusive offer to receive a recycled Rift outfit.
A similar offer was made for that Plagueskin a year ago, but this is a different offer as the parameters of acquiring theskin has been adjusted.

Im be surprise with people defending BHVR. Literally they know a lot of people have already that skin and , choice it for prime. why not t offer anything really exclusive? And people agree with this. sad

I didn't say it wasn't lazy.
I said it's not false advertising.

Im pretty sure the wording in the prime description itself says exclusive in-game loot.
And as far as Im aware for every other game the rewards ARE exclusive. Also every single cosmetic before has been exclusive setting a precedent.

Nothing here says every single offer must be exclusive in-game loot. A single such offer for any game (doesn't have to be DBD) in a month is enough to satisfy this claim.
It's only false advertising if you misread it.

It makes sense, given they had this whole "no more exclusives" stance just before partnering with Amazon Prime.
I am also fully expecting any currently Prime exclusive skins to enter the ingame shop at a later date, similar to how Tome skins work.

So then explain how this isn’t happening in other games because in those Exclusive means that Exclusive. Meaning only prime members will own it.
So yes, it is false/misleading advertisement because the contract (the agreement between the consumer and prime gaming) reads exclusive. There is no fine print or word that says otherwise.
Just because BHVR decides they want to use it loosely when they themselves have exclusive cosmetics in other parts of their game (mobile etc) and should understand how it works, doesn’t mean it’s not.

The wording says that every month you will receive exclusive in-game loot. That's it.
It doesn't say how much loot you get. It doesn't say for what games. It doesn't say that every single offer you receive must be for exclusive in-game loot.
It says you will receive exclusive in-game loot every month.
They can additionally give you any amount of non-exclusive in-game loot if they wish; the wording doesn't exclude that possibility.

There has been offers every month for over a year I think for stuff in Destiny 2, not a single one of those has been fully exclusive to Prime Members but also acquirable in the game.
The specific bundle they offer is still exclusive.
Just like how the bundle of all three parts of the Plagues Rift skin for "free" using a redeem code is still an exclusive offer, not offered anywhere else at that time.

Idk about Destiny because I don’t play that game, but I have not seen anything I got in Lost Ark in the in-game store. Leading me to believe that the only way to get that loot is via prime gaming.
To me, it’s misleading advertising and even if there are no merits in the wording to conclude that it is 100% exclusive, it is still bad business when you as a company know that you are releasing a product that you have already released prior… on a platform which some have simply to gain access to an unreleased cosmetic. Those people just wasted money on something that they already bought before. It’s a bad look.

Awesome time to unsubscribe

Truly disappointing indeed. Well at least we got few cool skins at the start.
Now lets receive old skins we already own in peace

If you sub to Prime solely for a DbD skin you're weird. You get so much value out of Prime, the random little game stuff is just bonuses.
You get a free sub to send to your favorite streamer, you get a number of free games each month, you can watch all of Prime Video, you can get free delivery on some Amazon orders. The little bundles of in game loot for all the various games they offer is just extra.
If you call that wasted money then you went in with the wrong idea imo.

It absolutely does create the implication by omission, even if they did so unintentionally. The fact that they are planning to change this wording should be evidence enough of that.

I know that in the grand scheme of things the prime skins don't matter at all, but it just feels so cheap and lazy to have them just be old rift skins. I get that people will complain about literally anything, and that there were some people complaining because they didn't have prime and didn't have access to the skins, but it is such a let down when the "new" skin is something that you have already had for over a year.
I honestly think the best way to about prime skins would be have them be recolors of outfits. That way people that don't have prime aren't missing out on an outfit, but people that do have prime are still getting something new.
2 -
You taking the time to say this says quite the opposite.
1 -
What's the point of using the word exclusive then? Who are the excluding?
They could have just said "unlock dead by daylight skins". I find it weird that there's people here saying "get exclusive skins" doesn't mean get exclusive skins.
4 -
I think the thing that annoys me most, even more than the implicit "we're gonna keep doing this", is the implication that they're not going to provide a reward to players who have Prime and already own the recycled skins. Not happy that they considered this and went 'meh.' That seemed like a big oversight to me.
1 -
I also find it strange when people try to redefine something with a straightforward meaning. Who the cap fit, let them wear it. None of them have ever been invited to an exclusive party obviously.

This.

It sucks, but the skin is exclusive. I don't have it either way nor do I have a way of getting it.

Bhvr has a serious issue when it comes to semantics, it seems. The way they word things is just asking for misunderstandings and thus frustratiin and negative experiences.
2 -
And you know that every cosmetic from Twitch is going to be available in the store at some point.

"Our team is currently working on fixing..."
🙂
"...this wording for future drops."
😐

I mean sure you think it’s weird, but that is beside the point.
Some people have no other uses for prime. Maybe they don’t watch twitch so they could care less about streamers getting a free sub.
Maybe they don’t order from Amazon, so they could care less about free delivery.
It is wasted money if someone isn’t getting what they primarily got it for. It may not be to you but to them it is. It certainly doesn’t make it less of a bad business practice.
