Moments in Solo Where Others Make SWF Plays.

Sometimes you get a godlike moment of synergy with randoms that killers can only conclude came from a SWF.

I know often times solo's do... questionable things, but I'd love to talk about times when things fit into place perfectly.

I just had a game where me and 2 others were at the exit gate. I was injured and so was someone else. The 4th person was on a hook. We managed to heal one person up but the terror radius started before they could heal me.

Without so much as a gesture I ran to the escape line and the two survivors crouched to alternate sides closer to the entry wall. The killer took one look at me, by myself while I beckoned her to come hit me.

While she was distracted by me the other two walked behind her and went to the rescue.

I couldn't believe how fluid that was.

I'd love to hear your stories of great solo queue plays too!

I love when a survivor is getting tunnelled out and the other three band together to both save survivor and all get out. It's just I know how many times we've all failed in that scenario and finally succeeding it gives me good feels man.

Similarly but specifically I love when solo can pull off hook saves at game close, like everything on the line, everyone knows their role based on their health state and number of hooks. It's always straightfoward enough but way too many times is it just dropped spaghetti and the mission falls apart right into a 4k. When it's flawlessly executed it's just *chefs kiss* right out the exit gate

Here's one Solo Q story that comes to mind for me.

I was against a Freddy at Crotus Asylum. Our team managed to finish all 5 gens with only 2 hooks for Freddy but a Jill got downed before the gates could be opened and was hooked in the shack basement. Jill was using Kindred so I could see they were being face-camped. The other 2 survivors were moving toward the shack while I was 99ing the gate close by.

When I got the gate to 99%, I ran to join them at the shack and the 3 of us headed down the stairs together and formed a triangle around the hooked Jill. We took turns tapping her to bait out the swing without getting grabbed until the Freddy finally swung out of frustration.

Once she was off the hook, the rest of us let Jill pass and body blocked the Freddy and then formed a line going up the stairs. We took turns taking protection hits while we all sprinted for the gate. It was a perfectly executed 4E on a face camper. The fact that we had no comms made it even sweeter!

That poor Freddy probably thought we were a SWF, no doubt.

Had one Myers get greedy, chasing people while carrying someone. I saw him approach a hook and gambled on it, bodyblocking him. He hit me, I ran off, and just before he could reach the hook, the survivor jumped off. Felt like Swiffer, but I was solo at the time.

Not exactly solo queue, since I was in a duo, but our two teammates were solos.

Gates are opened, my friend is downed and on death hook. One of the solos is decent with a flashlight, and manages one flashlight save. Friend runs towards the gate, but didn't expect the save so he's a bit confused and gets downed again. We all run towards the hook killer was running to. Solo 1 baits a hit and pulls it off, Solo 2 takes a hit, I crouch under hook and killer somehow misses me and hits Solo 1 instead, friend wiggles out, and we're all running into a line with me (only healthy survivor left) at the end running left and right to block the killer from running past me and straigth back at my death hook friend.

That was the smoothest coordination I've experienced without being on comms with half the team (or them being on comms together).

With the right survivors it is possible to make very co-ordinated plays. Using Deja Vu, I guided the others to see a potential 3 gen issue, which helped us avoid it and get a 4-person escape.

There have been many matches that have had great synergy between survivors, or knowing how best to work together for the escape, and best of all some ideas require no perks but common sense.

For example: if I have no hooks to my name, and another survivor has 1 or 2, then get the killer into a chase. It prolongs the game and is good for practice for future chases. Or the ability to figure if completing a gen or healing is more important.

I had several of that situations in solo queue, even with all survivors being solo. That situations are the ones that make the game great.

However, since the last patch, and the mmr change (and thus my descent into mmr hell) those games are hard to find. Before the patch, i had ascended to mmr heaven, where most games had teammates that knew how to do a gen and a safe.
