Recently had this with friends from around the globe:

Friend in SE asia and I (in europe) could invite, but the friend in the US couldn't.

We are all on steam, none of us is appearing offline...

What determines who can join a party/invite?

    I think that’s buggy. I have it with my partner that it’s just really rarely sometimes not possible for one of us to invite/join the other. Used to think it’s about being invisible in Steam but that’s not it..
