Wesker Extension Tech - More Info

I got around to going into KYF and doing some testing with the tech I made a post about yesterday. First things first, to clear some things up. It isn't so much a curve tech, like Billy or Blight. It is more of a tech involving his extension of his bound. I did know this but calling it a curve was just false.

Here is my new edited video for some examples of me trying to push it to see how far you could go. Some things to note, my console wasn't letting me record, so my girlfriend was able to record on PC, so it is from the survivor's POV. Personally, it actually helps explain it better, but soon I will get a killer POV version as well.

As you can see, the hitbox actually stays directly in front of Wesker no matter how far you turn your camera. It also appears to extend in front of him some as well, instead of it being entirely just him as the hitbox. Therefore, I grabbed her, and she is teleported to the camera position, which is in front of the tree.

We did switch sides as well to attempt something further for PC but they could not get it very well. Perhaps a hardware issue because I just can't believe that PC can't do this. Let me know if you attempt it and can get any further back than 90°, I really believe it is possible.

This combined with the throwing addons was actually pretty fun in-game when I could land consistently as well as aim my direction, it meant I could always throw into walls when I wanted to, or into the open to zone them.

Really fun potential and I can't wait to master it more. Next, I will slowly be trying to learn how his collision works with certain obstacles. Things like Midwich or Lery's can sometimes slide you instead of stopping you.

Thanks again to my partner for the help testing this.

Yea ive seen it and done it during the ptb, its just more prevalent now because the grab box has a decent size again so it can be used again. Most effective use will be turning towards dead zones for free 2 hits
