New hack where all my Hooks disappeared?

I had a game where the survivors sent me to Haddonfield and i was playing Pinhead, and There were literally 1 hook in the entire map in the middle (Excluding Basement) So i could only get a 2k (1 was with Mori, i bought Devour and moried 1 guy before devour was cleansed) And it was super weird, initially i thought It was some weird perks like Breakdown or Saboteur, or Several Alex's toolboxes, but no, they bought typical perks like Self cares, dead hard and some Boons and they brought Medkits, no toolboxes. I couldn't even tell who to report because nothing apart from the hooks were noticably sus. Have you guys encountered something like this? Am i missing something? I'm very sure Its extremely subtle cheating, but I just can't tell who or what kinda weird hack is this.

    It might be hack/cheating but it could also just be a bug that’s rarely occurring and thus we haven’t heard about it yet - then none of the other players would be to blame..
