How does new prestige effect item rarity?
"Prestiging noticeably increases the chances for rarer Nodes to spawn in the low-level Bloodwebs."
This is all the info I can find on the impact prestiging has on item rarity. Can anyone here confirm whether it's really worth?

I could be wrong but I think the way it works now is once you hit level 50 and Prestige the future webs have the same item rarity as the level 50 web, so you can get reds and purples in those early post Prestige webs now.

i thought they got rid of that with the update. guess i haven't noticed because ive been blasting through prestige recently

There is no difference. I get the same amount of junk as I did in lower prestige levels. I think BHVR should prioritize this as something to be adjusted as I seem to remember hearing them say they are looking into it.

Prestige 50? Hopefully that isn't true because that would make me sick of any survivor.
According to the wiki it's been this way as of the 6.1.2/6.1.3 patch.
That's interesting. I've heard complaints that some people are having a hard time getting brown add-ons on their favorite killers because of the new prestige system.

There is a difference. On my P18 Yui I've seen green items pre-10 in some of the bloodwebs leveling her up.
The lower levels still favor low rarity stuff because of the limited nodes but you do start to see rarer stuff earlier as you pretisge up.

thats unfortuante the killers i play the lower level addons are usually better
