We have temporarily disabled Firecrackers and the Flashbang Perk due to a bug which could cause the Killer's game to crash. These will be re-enabled in an upcoming patch when the issue is resolved.

On ps4, I know people who get a black screen and then the game crashes since the 2.4 update. Is this a common issue?

    Yup.
    New map is horrible for consoles and the new graphics package has cause horrible connectivity issues on Ps4 (can't speak for Xbox).
