Impossible healing doctor
A usually I play survivor, but I stumbled upon the impossible healing doctor build: coulrophobia, distressing, hex: huntress lullaby, and sloppy butcher. Additionally, the two add ons that Increase Spark’s terror radius.
have you played against this? A few people have messaged me after the match commenting about how ridiculous the skill checks were but I have never actually played against it. Stories? Other fun doctor build? I’ve been having fun playing as the doctor since discovering this build.

I've went against this but on wesker and it's pretty deadly since it leaves you more vulnerable to his tentacle

I understand it works best on the doctor since his power causes skill checks to move randomly across the screen as well as backwards. So with coulrophobia and 5 stacks of huntress lullaby, the survivors healing skill checks have no notification, can go backwards in a random spot on their screen, and go really fast. And sloppy butcher just puts the icing on the cake for missing the skill check.
how was it against wesker?

I prefer Unnerving Prescence to Huntress Lullaby. Messes with Gens too. Plus with the speed of Caul and a smaller range, you pretty much can't heal.
2 -
Hex lullaby can be cleansed.

Yeah I prefer Distressing, Caulrophobia, Unnerving Presense and usually Sloppy. Works on most killers but Doctor and Wesker are the best. Some survivors though still hit the skill checks every time and make the build useless.
Could even put Thana in there but still too risky on most killers.

Oh I can't wait to try this out
I actually have all those perks for once !

If I can I have been doing my best to steer survivors away from where the hex is. I played 5 matches of this last night and it only got cleansed once. I’m fine with that rate at the moment

let me know how your matches go! I haven’t lost yet, 4ks and occasionally a 3k and hatch so far with this build.
oh btw, Gideon is the best map for this.

I’ll give it a try tomorrow!

How does it leave you more vulnerable? I've been busy so haven't really played much as or against him

I can imagine Midwich being quite good as well !

Inner Strength (Inner Healing) requires no Skill Check input, for anyone out there who might be frustrated against this.
Also please use this perk instead of Self-Care I am begging you.

This! This is my healing perk of choice. I wish more people used it

Yeah I’ve had fun with that build but I replace Sloppy with Unnerving Presence since it makes the checks even harder. 🙂

Oh yesterday I saw someone with self care as their only perk haha I felt bad for them.
0 -
I’ll swap it and see how many more sound notifications I get today haha I’ve been having a blast (pun intended)

It's a tome challenge to escape after having healing yourself and only having self care equipped
0 -
Probably that horrific challenge
0 -
Oh I know it was. I’m sure they would have chosen a different tome if they knew what lobby they were loading into HAHA

Doctor can bring all the perks he wants to make my skill checks impossible, but he can't counter my perks like inner strength for heals, technician for gens, calm spirit for screams and corrective action to help my teammates not to miss any skill check 😎

On a tangent I wonder if Corrective Action plus Hyperfocus plus Stakeout will catch on...? (Probably not, especially since Corrective Action doesn't correct your own mistakes and most people aren't too worried about failing normal checks.)
0 -
Hyperfocus works on your personal skill checks. If another person does a skill checks it doesn't work. So no, corrective action doesn't even give you points if a teammate misses a skill checks and you correct it.
0 -
Right, but Corrective Action gains tokens when you personally hit a Great skill check, so if you’re already using Hyperfocus and Stakeout then your Corrective Action perk will be gaining tokens as well every time you hit the Great check for Hyperfocus.
0 -
Yeah, it can be a good combo to avoid that your teammates mess up a skill check, maybe even distracting you sometimes so you lose all the hyperfocus momentum.
