Accessing perks with other characters

Hi all. This is probably two questions, one on the mechanics and then one on strategy. It’s also a bit wordy so apologies! Let’s say I want to play most of my killer games as The Cenobite, using somebody else every now and then, but I want to equip a Trapper perk at tier three. Am I right in assuming that I have to prestige the Trapper once in order to give the Cenobite access to his perks (at tier one), but that I could then level up the perk (for the Cenobite only) to tiers two and three using the Cenobite’s bloodweb?

Assuming that’s correct, surely that’s the best way for me to go about it? If you’re somebody who wants to vary which killer they use a lot, and you want each Killer to have the Trapper’s perks, then you prestige the Trapper to level three. But if you want to specialise in one or two killers with access to the Trapper perks then you just prestige him once to access them and then level them up using the bloodweb of your specific killer, and of course keep an eye on the Shrine of Secrets just in case something I want appears in there.

That about right? 😂

yeah you can do that this way if you don’t intend to prestige Trapper further.

Yeah i guess it is the faster way and more logical one as you will level up your main killers to get addons/offerings as well and will just get the higher perk tiers along the way and you don’t sink in BPs into other killers just for the perks
