I'm done playing solo
I was honestly ready to give up on DBD, but I recently started playing mostly in SWF groups and it's so much better. I'm actually having a lot of fun again! I really hope solo q gets some much-needed buffs because I really enjoyed playing it before.
I highly recommend doing the same for those of you who are miserable playing solo. You won't regret it.

Yo, add me and we can play together! 😊
Also I agree, this is me every time I go into a solo queue match…

I've been in solo que ever since I got the game (2 months after it was released) and didn't have that many problems. I get nervous in groups, especially when I'm in red rank and kind of prefer to be on my own. I bring my usual "second chance" perks and usually still play pretty good. I can't imagine what playing in a party is like

I only have a two man team but it's still not enough to compensate for even just two randoms uselessness :c

As someone who also mostly does solo, if you'd like to swf add me on disc: Marvin#7735

After the grades reset I found myself in low MMR hell.
I don't know if it's related but I can't find another reason, because I usually doing fine solo.
I'm glad the game is still fun with friends. I miss playing with mine 😥

More fun because you can have reliable, consistent teammates, chat about random things while playing, and just have a laugh with whatever's going on. 11/10 would recommend if you're able to- it took a friend of mine 3 years to get over her fear of partying up because playing games with others gave her so much anxiety, so if you're unable to then that's honestly fine as well. Especially because you're able to actually enjoy solo (which is a miracle)

Would you guys mind if I tag alongside? Solo is...painful

After spending years in COD lobbies do you blame me lol

Can't lie - This killed me!

I'd imagine the social aspect can help keep things positive in SWF even if you have a bad/bad series of games, too!
Nice to see people come together, tbh - WHOLESOME TOPIC.

Eh, probably won't last much longer, lol

Must be nice having friends! 😓
Nah but seriously I'm glad you're enjoying the game again.

I believe SWF is the natural evolution stage for a solo queue player. It’s interesting that so many killer players here lament SWF.

Not all SWF are created equal, for every bully/sweat squad out there, there is a SWF just hanging out dropping bits of coordination while mostly talking about their fantasy football leagues.

Playing in a SWF
slighty/moderately/considerably/tremendously increases the chances of you enjoying the game! I play in a SWF with friends almost all the time, mostly without full comms. We have a lot of fun.I don't feel bad at all because I also see SWFing as sort of correcting the matchmaking/MMR system. I SHOULD be queued up with these kind of great players anyway, even if the game won't do so when I'm solo queue!

Of course.. although I don’t commonly see that distinction made here. When people complain about SWF in these parts, they rarely mention anything about the team’s skill. And what I’ve observed is that any team of survivors who function efficiently are called a “sweat squad”, so that term carries little weight.

Was about to say this. I'm pretty sure it's the way the game is evolving, and the way BHVR want it to evolve. We know from past stats that playing in a SWF increases your chances of escape more than it does when playing solo (i think it was by like 15-20% ?). Solos feeling the impact of survivor nerfs and killer buffs are likely to look into finding a group to play with.

Yes—if I remember correctly, participating in at least a 2-man SWF increased survival odds by around 15% and that percentage grew as the number of friends did. It makes a lot of sense, but it’s a devastating blow for solo survivors.

Taking a break, playing with friends or switching to killer is def better than killing yourself on the hook or DC. So, thank you.

My friends are worser than my solo teammates. I need new ones that don't play just to troll

I used to play swf, and then you see the power of even low level communication.
I stopped doing it because in solo, without perfect information all the time, the game was just more thrilling.
However, as it stands, i really should return to swf if i want to play survivor.
