Rookie Spirit is woefully underpowered
The perk is meant to help Survivors counter gen regression perks and we're in a gen kicking meta. It's still not worth a slot. Also, it has an activation requirement too, which means it doesn't even have 100% uptime.

It would still be weak if it didn't have an activation condition, but it does for some reason
IMO it would be cool if the perk gave survivors the 'all seeing/fuming mixtape' effect on regressing generators (As in they can see how much progress a gen that is regressing has from the aura)
That would make it much better and fits the perk thematically very well

That would just buff it to the power level of Buckle Up lmao

Seeing the word “Spirit” gets me so excited 😭

Yeah but at least it's an information perk that'll actually get used more than once a game since kicking gens is quite a common thing at the moment/gen regression perks are still commonplace albeit weaker in some instances like Pop
It should ditch the activation requirement and have a secondary effect as well, idk what though

I think to buff it you could make it so that other survivors see the aura of the regressing generator.

It would be neat if it gave you a small boost for a few seconds when repairing a generator that was regressing. Maybe 5% for 10 seconds.

Or maybe make the next good skill check an auto great skill check. This way it would be a failsave for Hyperfocus and encourage people to run it, but it doesn't stack with Stake Out.

I made a post about it being underrated shortly after it was released (that was a year ago damn). It's pretty good even if I don't usually run it that often.
My favorite aspect is probably that you can be informed on the location of gens that you didn't even see previously. Making it a much better choice than Visionary, Situational Awareness/Better Together, or Deja Vu.

My change is that also makes you see blocked gens, of course eliminate the skillchecks requirement.

I just had an idea about a rework for Rookie Spirit:
How about the perk shows you the generator with the most current progress, in different colors:
White: Gen currently regressing (as before)
Yellow: Gen currently being worked on (like the other having situational awareness)
Red: Gen unattended (neither regressing nor being worked on)
Sure it would only give you info of one gen at a time, but that would be universal info of the most important gen at this time.
