Why is Weskers' kit so overloaded?

Recently started playing again and seeing Wesker games compared to other Killer games leaves me wondering:

Why can Wesker Leap over pallets? Legion can but they also cannot down you while doing so.

Also, why the inherent slow down (Oroboros Infection) for a Killer that can pseudo-teleport? And the First Aid Spray takes longer than Nemesis vaccine, a Killer with no movement abilities that uses a similar mechanic.

Just seems excessive for an already strong Killer.

For the most part I feel Wesker's kit is almost perfect but one thing I would do is remove the killer instinct from survivors when they use a First Aid Spray. To me that's just unnecessary information that encourages tunneling on a survivor with an already strong killer.

I'd probably remove the addon that increases infection rate too but that's because I prefer direct interactions rather than passive playstyles of fire and forget.

Past that I see him as absolutely fine - Probably one of the most balanced killers they've released in a while - granted the most buggy but that seems to come with the territory when they make a good killer.

They can though with their 5th hit. Wesker goes on cooldown after vaulting.

Like what Crowman said it's not a pseudo-teleport it is a dash, would you call Demogorgon's shred a teleport? The first aid has two charges, while the vaccine is a one and done. For you to get slowed down you need to be fully infected which takes time, unlike Nemesis who can infect you by one hit. While Nemesis has no movement ability he has zombies (which can be useful sometimes) his infection not only causes him to tier up, but it gives zombies an easier time to detect you.

    "Overloaded"

It’s a power that cannot be used on every single area and tile. Furthermore, the tiles it can’t be used well or cleanly on are frankly, quite a lot.

Hinder only happens at maximum Infection which should never be happening outside of being tunneled off hook (if you aren’t tunneled off hook and you didn’t spray, that is on you). There’s 12 default full cleanses available, which is more than enough.

He can’t down you while vaulting unless you’re right beside the vault with him, which is on you. In practice, Wesker is a gimmicky worse Blight with the cool bonus of being able to yeet/body slam survivors.

Nemesis is a crap killer. Zero mobility, zombies are inconsistent and usually worthless, probably the worst-designed anti-loop power in the game, etc. He is the epitome of winning 1v1 and losing 1v4.

He isn't? He has dash to catch you and he has virus if he catches you and you have to remove it which takes few seconds. That's it. Moving on.

A teleport that doesn't go through obstacles. Now I've read everything.

If it's not a pseudo-teleport (I never claimed it was on par with an actual Nurse/Sadako Teleport), why is ever Wesker I ever seen using the ability after hooking to move faster around the map?

This just in: Moving from one space to another 21 meters away in less than a second is NOT a teleport. Oh dear.

Bipedal locomotion is a psuedo-teleport. It gets you where you want to go but slowly and not through obstacles. Oil is merely psuedo-water, it makes you slippery and penetrates most porous materials.

If you strip out the core identity of a thing when trying to relate it to another thing, the analogy ceases to work. Going through stuff is integral to a teleport. If the ability doesn't go through things, it's no longer related to a teleport in any way. They don't share enough properties to be related to one another after a certain point. What you're getting at is ridiculous and poorly phrased and thought out. It's okay, you know better for next time.

How are they tunneling if they allowed the person to spray themselves?

Cool story. Not accurate comparison at all but lovely little story.

i had a thought that it should only give killer instinct if the person cleansed a full infection.

Isn't teleportation theoretically just moving extraordinarily fast either via a small pocket dimension used as a bridge or via just moving at incredible speeds to the point that teleportation seems the only logical explanation? im lookin to get philosophical ya know?
