reassurance feels unfair sometimes
you know im fine with survivors stopping the hook state to like finish the heal and unhook or find something then unhook or just counter camping in general
what im not fine with is the fact that survivors can stop the hook in end game collapse, im not ok with that, sometimes u just need to camp one last survivor if you lost the game and no don't hit me with that IM PERFECT BS. let's be honest all of us camped that one last survivor at end game collapse at least once or twice
but just play better, you suck as a killer
yea good luck winning on red forest with any killer than isn't nurse
anyways my point is reassurance shouldn't work in end game collapse cuz honestly it just feels so unfair, ds was removed for this and for some reason reassurance is fine?
and a wild take i think the 10 seconds BT should also be removed in end game collapse, that moment is all about pressuring the survivors to leave
and one more thing, please make it so the doors start decaying, all of these years and still so annoying seeing both doors at 99% and not being able to do anything
and don't tell me CURRENTLY KILLERS ARE OP NO, they are not the MMR is messing everyone up, killers are fine to say the least, yes camping and tunneling is more popular than ever but let me also remind you ITS NOT BREAKING ANY RULES its part of the game, just as you body block or dance in front of the killer with your off the record, yes its annoying and gets boring but tbh sometimes its a viable tactic (the tunneling part not camping, i still find camping boring)

I fully agree with everything you said except regressing gates. This will make perks like blood warden almost mandatory, which in turn will incentivize selfish gameplay on the survivor side.

And one more thing, put all the survivors on hooks if all the generators get finished.

yea i agree on that one

thank mr/mrs nurse main i will take your advice to heart and hook everyone as a D tier killer main ty <3

Definitely not a Nurse main.
End game collapse is already favorable to killer now that many survivor perks are deactivated in EGC.
As long as you don't hook too close to the gate (which you shouldn't be doing anyways), or have already killed at least one survivor (which in the majority of cases you should have done at that point anyways), then you are already all but guaranteed a kill in EGC. More, if you brought STBFL.
You might want to rethink how you view EGC if you think it is unfair towards killers. Or, take STBFL if you want a 100 percent guaranteed kill in EGC.

So before I type this I'm just gonna say I had a better comment and it deleted due to a technical error T-T
Now as much as endgame can feel like a net loss for killers there are multiple instances and perks in the game that allow you an upper hand during that time. If we are to implement everything you suggest then there's going to be zero to no incentive to save my teammate from the hook as they're being camped, since at that point every tool I had is now gone. Doesn't that seem just a little unfair? And before you say that survivors already had a leg up in endgame, yes, we do if we did our objective and got to the end successfully, but if you're at endgame with less than four survivors then that win ability goes down immediately. All I'm trying to say is while it feels bad to not be able to make a comeback or get one kill at all, it's completely unfair to take everything we can use away. I will be honest with you though, I don't have many suggestions that could help you as I hardly play killer myself, but if you wanna discuss a way to make endgame fairer for both sides then I'd be willin' ta talk with ya, thank ya for your time.

Tbh it just sounds like you think you should be nearly guaranteed a kill if you hook survivors after gens are finished. Which really makes zero sense because: 1. You failed to prevent gens being done, 2. You killed only 1 or no survivors before end game. No you should not be rewarded for this. Also, EGC was never meant to be a tool to give killers an advantage.

Reassurance requires getting very close to the hooked survivor. I don’t see how you couldn’t at least injure the user before they run off - if not, force a hook trade. You can always take your chances with RNG and try to get a hook grab as well.
If you’re asking for Reassurance to be nerfed in the end game (which I don’t think it should be), you better be compensating big time in the early game.

I like even the people who reassurance thought would effect have just changed their style. Basement bubba? He just stays at the stairway now so the reassurance is again useless. Other facecamping cases maybe. But most of the time 6 meters will just get you killed. They really need to bump it to like 10.

…..except with indoor maps, where the reassurance range is so large that the survivors can sometimes safely activate it with zero chance the killer can retaliate. The perk should require line of sight to activate.

Skill issues here.

99'ing gates should not be a thing, they should totally regress.
0 -
And why's that?
5 -
if you hate seeing 99 gates, run terminus

When gates are powered up or EGC is even started, stop hooking them, just slug them. you might catch even more during that time of they are trying hard to save others. And you don't need to deal with reassurance or BT. Just slug, chase others, harm as many as you can, it becomes riskier and riskier to try to go for a save, and you can end up with 3 or maybe even 4 people hooked instead of 1 if they are too pushy. So exit gates powered: start slugging. They opened it and started Endgame Collapse? even better, they are running out of time to save eachother

Is this a joke post ? Reassurance should be BUFFED tbh and DS too, they failed miserably with the big meta shake up patch the best thing to do now is to give us decent tools against the most common tactics tunneling/camping, current DS and reassurance are close to useless

Reassurance is a anti-camping perk. It does it's job.
That's about it. It does what it's designed to.

If you made decisions and plays that led to losing horribly during the early & mid game, I do not see why the game should be gifting mercy kills to the killer player during the late game. I do not think Reassurance needs any adjustments.

I mean while kill rates around 61%, we are asking for more survivor nerfs which looks pretty bad.
Reassurance is balanced with 6m. If survivor is using it, you can get free hit. Maybe free down, depends on killer. You can see them, maybe except of some multi-floor maps. And plus you can use Terminus, pretty strong end game killer perk.
If they remove base-kit BT at end game, unhooked survivor will have no defence. Smart killers can play around bodyblocks. Hooked survivor will just die without BT & DS & OTR. So you are just asking for free kill. This will not be healthy change, survivors should have BT at least for defend themself at end game. If you did not kill any survivor before EGC or you hooked them near to gate; then survivors should have advantage, not killer. They earned it.
Regressing gates will never happen because killer also can start EGC. Devs said this several times. And EGC never added to give advantage to killers. It added because survivors was staying in trial and bullying killers. This added for fix that. Regressing gates will give huge advantage to killers, so this will never happen. And plus with Terminus, you can force survivors to open gates early.
Red Forest is the biggest map in the game, true. But it did not reworked yet, so i am hoping they will cut some parts of it. We have no date sadly.

Why should you be allowed to camp the survivor? Like I get it, you want the kill, that's understandable, but the survivors also want to prevent you from getting the kill. They should have some tools to do that. If a hook was a guaranteed elimination it would be a very different game.
