A few issues I have with the anti-slug perk changes
(YES I KNOW THESE ARE EXPERIMENTAL CHANGES FOR THE PTB ONLY DON’T YELL AT ME)
unbreakable, exponential, no mither, and soul guard lost their heal from dying state abilities but got buffs in trade….however only unbreakable did and I can’t remember the numbers for exponential but I am pretty sure unbreakable out shadows exponential entirely now as they both have the exact same numbers i’m pretty sure

Unbreakable is an infinite use 22.5s self pickup. Yep. Devs unironically think that’s okay.

If this goes through, there is literally no reason to bring Exponential. At all.

You did not read the notes at all lmao, they removed the pick up until 45 seconds have passed so thats more of a 67.5s pick up

The notes you failed to read literally say recovery speed increases will affect the 45s. Unbreakable now gives +100%.

If it works the same way as Unbreakable will (ie. 22s recovery) then it'll be common in swfs

In all fairness to Soul Guard, the cursed effect for infinite self pick up basically never happened anyways. Soul Guard if anything is better now that you don't need to run another perk along side it for self pick up.

I saw the unbreakable part but didn’t see the affected by recovery speed part, mb, hopefully its not a flat % change to the 45 seconds or else that will be a problem

I'm not sure what you are getting at me for. I was only pointing out that despite Soul Guard having an effect removed, it's basically better due to the basekit changes.

It's a good and fair fix. To speed up that process we have to use a perk slot. Yes, people are going to use it a lot at first but once more killers stop using slugging as a strat, it will end up being a wasted perk slot.

It's intended to gut that strat. What interactivity does it kill? It makes the game more fun. Also makes it more challenging for killer. Which equates to a more fun game for both sides.

Killer risks giving up a hook state in return for immediately pressuring other survivors, and someone has to go pick the slug up off the ground.

Well everyone and their mother will be running unbreakable. That with boiled, what will BHVR do about survivors who just run to the 2nd or 3rd floor hook deadzones? You literally cannot touch those survivors already without just leaving them slugged.
