Midwich needs more hooks
This map is horrible in terms of hook spawns. You can kill one survivor here and get 25% of the map having no hooks at all. If BHVR are going to give survivors free unbreakable this problem should be addressed.

The issue is how distances between hooks are calculated. Ideally they should be calculated as shortest walking path distance but instead they are calculated as straight line point to point distances ignoring walls and floors and such.

No. I agree with you that hook spawns are terrible for killers here. Everything else is terrible for survivors in this map.
If the map should have 0 counters for survivors, please DELETE IT! It has highest killrate. I see 0 reason to buff the map any more

Midwich is killer sided from every point of view but in terms of hook it makes it balanced

Sorry, but this makes no sense. If you get tombstoned by Myers, do you feel like: "yep, that's how this killer is working, this is balanced". If the map has too big killrates there should be a way to address that either..

Makes no sense, never had a problem hooking on Midwich. it's insanely easy especially if someone gets downed on the second floor.

Ive had a couple of times were i lost a kill because the one hallway on the first floor has zero hooks

Actually that's exactly how I feel. Yes my team screwed up and let meyers stalk them too much. It's not fair towards me (if I wasn't stalked - soloQ issues), but considering the game as team it's fully ok.
And considering the hooks... If every hallway had 1 additional good pallet (meaning +8 pallets), the map would become Ok. Maybe not against nurse/blight/twins/sadako (yes sadako is OP on this map even if she is weak otherwise)/.... But at least regular old slow M1 killers would be managable (e.g. clown)
