Killer Concept: Apollyon (For Honor)
Ever since there was a For Honor collab announced way back in October and all DBD got out of it was a charm, I always wanted to make a concept around the idea. With a new officially unannounced Chapter coming out in November, I revisited it and came up with a power and perks. Let me know what you all think! (WIP will be editing)
KILLER: The Warmonger (Apollyon)
Weapon: Wicked Flamberge
POWER: Unending Conflict
-Hitting a Survivor with a Basic Attack inflicts the Corrupted Status Effect.
-New Status Effect: Corrupted. When a Corrupted Survivor comes within 6m of another Survivor, both of their Auras are revealed to the Warmonger for 3s and the Survivor is no longer Corrupted. For each Aura shown to the Warmonger in this way, she gains a Warfare Token, up to 10 Tokens.
-Warfare Tokens can be consumed to launch a multitude of Special Attacks with the Flamberge.
SPECIAL ATTACK: Tyrant's Assault
-Hold the Power Button to consume 1 Warfare Token and cut forward with 1.5x the range of a Basic Attack lunge. Attack only in a straight line.
SPECIAL ATTACK: Warmonger's Bane
-Hold the Power and Active Ability Buttons to consume 2 Warfare Tokens and slash in a wide arc, injuring multiple Survivors as well as breaking Pallets, Breakable Walls and Generators.
SPECIAL ATTACK: Impaling Thrust
-Hold the Power and Secondary Active Ability Buttons to consume 3 Warfare Tokens to Thrust forward with the Flamberge over a short distance. If you collide with a Survivor, they are Impaled on your sword and the Thrust distance is reset. Up to 2 Survivors may be Impaled with one Thrust. After running the distance, if any Survivors have been impaled the Warmonger pushes them off, throwing them back a couple meters.
-Note: The distance of Impaling Thrust is by default 12m. The Warmonger may turn/steer the direction of Impaling Thrust. Impaling a Survivor always causes them to lose 1 Health State.
-After performing any Special Attack, the Warmonger may immediately launch another Special Attack within a short window, chaining the two at the cost of twice as many Warfare Tokens for the second attack. Only differing Special Attacks may be chained together. Only 2 Special Attacks may be chained this way. After performing any Special Attack, the Warmonger suffers a 3s cooldown (5s if she chained 2 Special Attacks).
(The idea behind this power to be similar to the mechanics of combo-based fighting games, similar to how FPS players may find similar mechanics with Huntress, Deathslinger and Trickster.)
PERKS:
- Hold!: While not being opened by a Survivor, Exit Gates regress at 5/7/9% of their maximum progress. Gain a noise notification whenever Survivors interact with an Exit Gate.
- Divide And Conquer: Survivors performing Coop Actions have their Auras revealed to the Killer and suffer from the Oblivious status effect. Coop Generator Repair speeds are decreased by 12/16/20% of the bonus speed per Survivor, for each Survivor on a Generator. (Note: This does not work with Lethal Purserer)
- Culling Of The Wolves: After a non-Obsession takes a Protection Hit, they become the Obsession. Whenever a new Survivor becomes the Obsession, all other Survivors suffer from the Exposed status effect for 30s. During that time, the Killer becomes Undetectable. Culling Of The Wolves has a 120/105/90s cooldown.
